The Medicinal Jungle, Volume II
In it, ethnobotanically, the prevention, curing and healing of hundreds of human ailments, afflictions, diseases, disorders and injuries are addressed.
Through a glossary of thirty-nine pages, identifying which semitropical and tropical plants are medicinally capable of what, an extensive array of health issues/problems are effectively discussed.
These range from adrenal gland difficulties, aging skin, AIDS, Alzheimer’s, bad breath, baldness, bed wetting, bee skins to uterine cancer, varicose veins, venereal diseases, vomiting, wasp stings, weight loss, yellow fever to zoonotics.
By way of trial and error, over the eons, humanity has persevered in determining and realizing effective health problem resolution via native plant life. This book series clearly and succinctly documents these plant species’ natural, medicinal applications.
Including hundreds of magnificent pictures, it is written in the same simple, easy to understand – often humorous – facts laden manner of the well received, best-selling, Volume I of this series and the earlier (similarly received) three books of “The Civilized Jungle.”

Hi Everyone
With our summer tours and Steve moving to Belize recently to reside now completed, we are finally able to resume with regular posts and new updates to our valued followers. The Medicinal Jungle Volume II is nearly complete and will be available to order in the near future... but a new surprisingly and different 'Jungle' book series will launch very soon... so please watch this space? We have added hardback cover and e-book options to all our four current books... for those that prefer these formats over paperback.
So, in the meantime......

On the road again!
Shortly I embark on a Midwest U.S. college/university and library book-signing tour for The Medicinal Jungle, Volume I.
Along the way, my route takes me close enough to stop by in my western Kansas hometown of Larned, where folks have graciously arranged a bit of and event for both the high school I attended and the public library!
Because of their kindnesses, I’ll donate copies of all three volumes of The Civilized Jungle, as well as this new one to both institutions.
Remind me to get some good pictures along the way for our primary distribution venue, Lulu Bookstore, on-line!
No few miles will be logged along the way, over the next few weeks, but I’m looking forward to it.
