¿Que es Chido?

'Chido' es la palabra mexicana utilizada para definir algo como bueno, hermoso, fino, cosas de buena calidad, así como define un acuerdo para bien, o si refiere a una persona, quiere decir agradable o amigable. No se sabe a ciencia cierta el origen de la palabra (aparentemente derivada del asturiano 'xidu') sin embargo se comienza a utilizar en el slang de los años 70 en la Ciudad

de México, y se extendió de tal manera que ahora es utilizado en todo el país, todo mexicano que de digne de serlo sabe lo que es “Chido”. Chido ha sido elegida para nombrar a este colectivo formado por mexicanos y gente que le encanta México en cualquier parte del mundo. Destacamos nuestra esencia, la fusionamos con un toque moderno, creativo y filosófico con lo mejor de nuestro pasado, la ola de nuestro presente y la visión de un futuro colectivo positivo, chido e inteligente.

'Chido' is a mexican slang word that stands for good, nice, beautiful, good quality, also it is used to define an agreement or can be refer of friendly, cool, easy going person. The origin of word Chido is not exactly know –apparently it can come from asturian word xidu–, however it was introduced in Mexico City's slang in the middle 70's and then spread in such a way that now is used in the whole country; every mexican that calls himself like that knows what means to be "Chido". Chido is what we chose to name this collective formed by mexicans and people that love Mexico anywhere in the world. We highlight our essence and mix it with a modern, creative and philosophical touch with the best of the past, the wave of the present and the vision of a collective, positive, chido and bright future.
