Another interesting fact is that the pyramids of Teotihuacán are aligned with astronomical precision. The layout of the main structures, such as the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, suggests that the ancient inhabitants had a deep understanding of astronomy and possibly used them to mark important astronomical events, such as equinoxes and solstices.

This morning we ventured to Teotihuacan, where we explored the majestic pyramids. Then, we headed to the charming restaurant ‘El Último Refugio,’ where Flor and Omar welcomed us with refreshing Xoconostle water and delicious pulque. They surprised us with a creative drink of hibiscus, tangerine, and pulque distillate, accompanied by an exquisite tortilla soup and authentic local dishes such as barbacoa, rabbit, and chicken. For some of our guests, there were also vegetarian dishes with local ingredients. To finish our day, we visited the historic Ex Hacienda de San Antonio Ometusco, known as the jewel of pulque-producing haciendas. An unforgettable experience filled with history, culture, and unique flavors in Mexico!

Fuimos a Teotihuacan por la mañana, después visitamos el restaurante “El último refugio” donde Flor y Omar nos recibieron con agua de Xoconostle, pulque y una bebida con Jamaica mandarina y destilado de pulque, esto acompañado de una deliciosa sopa de tortilla, y un platillo local barbacoa, conejo pollo...y por último visitamos la histórica Ex Hacienda de San Antonio Ometusco considerada la hacienda Reyna productora de pulque.
