Did you know that Barcelona's famous beaches are actually artificial? Before the 1992 Olympic Games, Barcelona's coastline was industrial. To transform the city for the Olympics, they cleared the industrial areas and imported sand (some even from Egypt!) to create the beautiful beaches that millions enjoy today.

Did you know that during the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, a safety net was suspended beneath the bridge. This innovative (for its time) precaution saved the lives of 19 workers who fell, earning them the nickname "Halfway to Hell Club."

A New Leaf helps families and individuals overcome the challenges of homelessness, domestic violence, and more, and arrivia is proud to have collaborated with and helped this organization for many years now.

One of the most fascinating fun facts about Chichen Itza is how astronomically precise its main pyramid, El Castillo (also known as the Temple of Kukulkan), truly is.

During the spring and autumn equinoxes, the setting sun casts a shadow that creates the illusion of a serpent slithering down the pyramid's steps.

This "feathered serpent" effect culminates at the base with the carved head of Kukulkan, the Mayan feathered serpent deity.

Recently, our team in Mexico got together to collect plastic caps, and we're stoked to announce a full container has already been donated to the local charity Banco de Tapitas A.C. who collect, store and recycle all types of plastic caps in order to generate economic resources to support different care programs for children under 21 years of age diagnosed with cancer.

This past holiday season, our team members in Arizona came together to support our Adopt-A-Family program and help wrap presents for the families adopted on behalf of arrivia.

Giving back was one of the main things we focused on this past holiday season, which is why we also participated in a few other charities, donating presents and spreading holiday cheer to those less fortunate in our communities.
