This city has many things to offer for everyone, from different types of art, to museums and local restaurants. The city is a beautiful colonial town with numerous archaeological sites and structures of the native Zapotec and Mixtec cultures. The city is perfect for a cultural and culinary trip to escape regular life.

Taxco is a charming mining village located in the Mexican state of Guerrero, 170km southwest of Mexico City. Build against steep slopes, its narrow streets with dark cobblestones and white houses create an inviting atmosphere. The colonial Templo de Santa Prisca cathedral on the main square is well worth a visit. Visit the El Cristo statue for excellent views of the town. The village is famous for its silver; hence the abundance of silver shops. Great for souvenir-hunters!
