DMC GLOBAL TRAVEL. In Mexico, the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) defines the DMC as: “professional services company, with extensive knowledge and experience of the tourism conditions and resources of a region, specialized in both the design and the realization of events, routes, circuits and all kinds of high demand activities in segments and / or high-value market niches. ”There are 3 types of DMC classified according to the nature of the group and not the company: business, which they are in charge of organizing congresses, fairs, conventions and incentive trips; the specialized ones, which make customized trips and pre-designed for groups (cultural, sun and beach, students, romance, ecotourism, etc.); and the mixed ones, which is a combination of the previous ones.
