Enjoyed a full day on a private tour to Tulum with this beautiful lady and good old friend of mine!

The itinerary goes as follows:
🌞The day starts at 10am- shuttle adventure to Cenote Azul, where we snorkel🤿(or deep dive), have fish pedicures🐟 and enjoy the lush nature.🦎
🌞At 1pm we are back on the shuttle to the Tulum Mayan ruins- learn about Mayan history,🗺️ enjoy ancient architecture and use a beautiful backdrop for stunning pics!
🌞Enjoy a leisurely walk, stop for a refreshing fresh coconut 🥥 drink, as we make our way to a great authentic Mexican restaurant for lunch.🌮
🌞By 4pm we are talking a strole along the main street in centro Tulum.

I don't miss much from Canada... But I do miss my girls, big time. .. As anyone who knows me, knows I don't like everyone, that's for sure, most humans exhaust me, drain me or god darn annoy me... So it's hard to find friends. These ladies I spent the day with, are amazing women, they are 100% my kind of people🙌. Open minded, loving, super fun and love adventures... And so they asked me to take them on adventure, and I did!

Started with a private yoga lesson in my gated community, take a shuttle ride to Tulum, experience a beautiful Cenote together, cenote Azul(they were in Awwww, like most people 😉), shuttle ride back, strolled around Playa and ate an amazing dinner at a fun place.

Sad part? They will leave in a week.. But we will see each other 1 or 2 more times before they leave... So hard to always have to let go, but always fabulous to live and experience life and good souls in the moment!

Blessed to have met such beautiful women and to live in such a beautiful place. 💜❤️🌹❤️💜rivieramaya

The other half of my practice, floor series. Twists, turns, forward bends and some good old Nala fun, my dog. 😉🐶
She spent most of my seated practice trying to get me to play with her plush toy. My girl always makes my day, loyal, loving and always wanting my attention. Watch how she continues to try and pass me her toy, I add some training while I'm at it.

With my practice, I struggled getting back to the depths I was within my body only 8 months ago. Everything from my forward folds, back bends to side bends are limited now. As stress can do a number on your body🙄😞. I promise myself to practice everyday now, even if it's just for 15 min, but aiming for 1hr to 75 min daily. I'll keep you posted on my progress!

Feeling the depth of the pose. It wasn't easy for me this morning, noticing my body was hurting, my emotions were being stirred up and the pain was hard to handle... But it's all part of the healing and growth. Sometimes it will not be easy, sometimes you want out, your body is not responding how you would like it. It's all part of yoga, and the up's and down of spiritual growth. The brave part, is stepping on your mat regardless of the challenges and the bruising to your ego.
Just do it! Feel it! Be it! 😉😏

My rooftop "wake up" and start the day standing sequence. A smooth flow, combined with some core work to stimulate the body and soul for the day! It's been awile since I stayed in a regular practice, as my life has been quite the struggle recently, however I know that my yoga practice has always been my "go to" strength and stability. I need that fire and passion in my life. My cat decided to make a little appearance too. Enjoy!
