Esta ceremonia tradicional consiste en el disparo de un cañón a las 21:00 horas todos los días para indicar el cierre de las puertas de la muralla que rodeaba la ciudad.

La ceremonia data del año 1774, era utilizada para defenderse de los frecuentes asedios de corsarios y piratas. Anunciaba el cierre de puertas, utilizando el disparo de un cañón, primero se hacia desde un buque en el puerto y más tarde se comenzó a realizar desde esta maravillosa Fortaleza de San Carlos de la Cabaña.

No puedes dejar de presenciar esta tradición cuando viajes a la Habana, Cuba. Se ha conservado hasta el día de hoy, y se representa con personas uniformadas a la antigua usanza, como si estuvieran en el siglo XVIII.

El habano es una obra maestra que requiere mínimo de dos años de elaboración; el cual es cultivado y manufacturado de manera 100% artesanal exclusivamente en Cuba. Proceso que atraviesa varios controles fuertes tanto a nivel del proceso agrícola de cultivo, fermentación, secado e inclusive añejamiento.

La combinación de factores climáticos con las características del territorio cubano hacen del habano un producto auténtico de Cuba, certificado por el sello de autenticidad que adorna las cajas de las diferentes marcas cubanas.

Un habano esta ligado al tiempo de fumar que un cliente tiene para disfrutarlo, ya que lo ideal es terminarlo y no guardarlo o cortarlo. Van desde los 20 min hasta los prominentes de hora y media. Hay un dicho comun entre los amantes del habano: "Hay que dejar morir un habano con dignidad".

Se dividen en 5 territorios de sabor:
1. Suave
2. Medio suave
3. Medio
4. Medio Fuerte
5. Fuerte
