Open to exploring beneath the surface? One of the best parts about exploring the cenotes and caverns with a guide, especially a nature geek for a guide, is all the things they find which you’d otherwise overlook. And when you know where to look you’ll be amazed by what you find - here, our guide, Gabriel, spotted a colony of bats, spiders and alongside some beautiful coral fossils! 🦇 💙

La danza de los voldadores... there are many stories about the origin of this ritual. In Mayan mythology it represents the creation of the world and the deities residing at the ‘world tree’ (center of the world).

Whatever the origin, hats off to the guys who are keeping this ritual alive. You can witness it as part of our Historial Adventure. Just beware if you get queasy from the thought of heights or fairground rides - at least it’s not you up there 😜🙌🏼

Open to some monkey business? Then our Jungle Adventure is for you. Come join us as we try to spot the families of spider & howler monkeys at Punta Laguna reserve. Last week we were fortunate enough (despite the rain) to spot a family of spider monkeys with their babies, sheltering from the bad weather. 🐒 💚

One of the most unique things about the Tulum Ruins is their location. In the first part of our Historical Adventure you get to experience the ruins by land, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Your adventure wouldn’t be complete without experiencing it by sea, giving you a whole other, stunning perspective, so we make sure you get to experience that too! ⛵️ 💙

Life’s a beach, eh?! Just a glimpse of Playa Tulum before you board the boat and set sail as part of our Historical Adventure to snorkel the reef, searching for stingrays, turtles and all kinds of other exotic sea life. It’s easy to see why the ancient Mayan’s might’ve chosen such a beautiful spot to set up one of their homes (which you’ll also get to explore at the Tulum Ruins)! 💛 ☀️ 🌊

Normally we take you to downtown Tulum for lunch as part of our adventure, but if you’d prefer to hang out in this little piece of paradise longer, just let us know and we can customize your experience. 🙌🏼 (thanks for the pic ).

Sometimes it’s nice to join some of our adventures ourselves. This time we’re geared up and ready to explore the beautiful Caribbean waters around Tulum (the snorkeling part of our Historic adventure). An amazing day was had with the entire group! 🤿 🐢🐠🐟.

Get ready to work up a bit of a sweat as part of our Jungle Adventure. 💦

It’s not too strenuous, but the infamous humidity can get you. It’s totally worth it though - the stories from the local communities, the abundance of small wildlife that our guides always manage to spot, the monkey parade with families of spider and howler monkeys ready to welcome you, and to top it all off, the stunning views over the lake as you zipline and then row from one side to the other (note: all optional activities - you can also opt to take the short trek back through the jungle to meet up with the group). 🐒 🦋🦎.

As much as we aim to take you to smaller, off the beaten track cenotes, sometimes the universe has other plans. Not to worry - we always have back-up options ready to ensure you still have an amazing adventure. 🙌🏼

Like a few weeks ago, when a tropical storm hit the area resulting in some of the smaller cenotes being out of action for a while. We went to another cenote instead. Albeit a bit more touristy, due to the elevated water levels we got to experience a rare thing - these turtles, up close and personal as they cut across our path into the cenote. 🐢 💚.

(or ma´ax in Mayan) on parade as they swing through the trees, making their way home for the evening with their families and friends.
One of the variety of magical sights you´ll encounter - especially if you manage to spot the babies! 💚💚
