Magical secrets of the Sacbés (white roads)✨

⭐It is believed that they were white because they reflected the moonlight and illuminated the trips.

⭐They connected cities far away from each other, expanding up to 300 km!

⭐It is said that some had religious significance and rituals were performed before crossing them.

When in , we always stop by this restaurant. You can sit right on the beach or upstairs in the open air restaurant.

The best part is that the kids play on the beach while we wait for the food.

If you spend the night in with kids, I highly recommend Hotel & Suites Oasis Bacalar. We stayed there as a family of 6. They have 2 condos with separate bedrooms, full kitchen, etc.

It is very central and we walked to the market to get eggs 🍳 . Across the street there a very cute jungly restaurant that we went to for breakfast 🥞 . Around the corner there’s this natural juice bar 🍊 as well. This place was perfect for a family stay. In fact, we stayed there 3 times so far and were never disappointed 🌴

And if you need a rental car to get to Bacalar, let us know!

This is the most impressive semi-open cenote we have seen so far. It is SO deep. And you have a magnificen view on the way down the gigantic staircase. It almost gives you a vertigo.

Bonus : the jungle ziplines! My kids really enjoyed them!

in is a unique beach known by all locals. It is perfect for families because of the shallow water of the cenote that empties in the carribean sea.

This beach is located on the north side of Playa del Carmen and easier accessed by car because it can be difficult to find a taxi at the end of the day.
