Morning fishing trip on the 28th of January:

25lb amberjack and a 15lb wahoo 🤩

We did some bottom fishing dropping our bait (sardine) around 80-90m deep. Our first bite was the amberjack. We dropped another bait but at around 20-30m we got a hit, the wahoo didn´t let the bait get to the bottom. Usually we do trolling to land wahoos, so it was a great surprise!

Last year due to rough weather we had to cancel our trip with Rick. This year we got to take him out and landed some barracuda and red snapper 💪🏾

It was an excellent afternoon my friend! Hope to see you again next year!

Barracuda and amberjack, and a little surprise from the tax man!

From around November to February is shark season (bullsharks and tigersharks) , that means there is a chance our catch get´s a little lighter while reeling it in 🦈

It often happens with the amberjacks. A lot of times the sharks are after the school of coronados, and as the coronado puts up a good fight and is very shiny the shark detects and attacks it.

This trip was in December, this month we have not been taxed yet

A trip back in October!

We went out around 1km from the beach and did some trolling for bonitos and barracuda and some bottom fishing for the coronado.

After the trip our clients enjoyed their catch as a freshly cooked meal! It always tastes best when you were the one to land it!!

Some of our first trips this January 🤙🏾 Getting a variety of bites: pargos, barracudas, amberjacks, jurel, and kingfish

We did some slow trolling, with the down rigger at around 80 and 100 feet, and landed the pargos, barracudas and jurel. For the amberjack we did some bottom fishing

A trip during the last days of December 2024 🤙🏾

Deep sea fishing and landing a yellow eye snapper with a jig, we also did some bottom fishing and landed an amberjack and a peje pluma (roosterfish) with a number 6 hook and sardine as bait

It is always fun to land a variety of fish! Thank you my friends for fishing with us!

Saturday fishing: the amberjack hadn´t been biting the days before, but we wanted to try again! We started fishing for bonitos to use some of them as bait for bigger fish. Though fishing had been slow lately, we got lucky and landed our first amberjack!! It was a strong fight! Soon after, we got another strong hit and caught a second amberjack!

Father and daughter enjoyed their fresh caught meal together after an excellent day on the water 🙌🏾

Another mahi mahi collection! Pictures from different trips we did in September 🙌🏾

Mahi-mahi means "strong-strong" in Hawaiian, and they certainly live up to their name, these fish put up an incredible fight!! And they also taste delicious!

Sometimes when the water is calm the fishing can be slow, and that day it was pretty calm. We searched for seaweed, knowing that underneath, there's a good chance of finding mahi mahi. Finally, we landed our first catch 🤙🏾 — dinner was secured! We landed a few more and a good sized barracuda as well!

Our second white Marlin of the season!! It gave a good fight 💪🏾 White marlins are part of a group called billfish, a term which refers to predatory fish in the family Istiophoridae.
