REVIEW ***** Amazing time as always!! We had the amazing chance of seeing big turtles laying eggs just in front of the house and Little baby turtles hatching!! We played a lot with the body boards, kayaks and SUP, swam a lot and enjoy the wonderful view- It was amazing!!!

Brilliant gem out of the way
Almost seemed too good to be true to have such a lovely property that is this picturesque and RIGHT on the beachfront. Nitpicks: We stayed in the bottom floor "Sun Suite", so your mileage may vary in terms of the other guests on the top floor noise-wise. Another variable that might affect your stay is the 'Sargazo' or the seaweed that has increasingly been washed ashore, as it can go from almost none, to the shore and about half a mile in being utterly saturated with the seaweed; we were unable to go in the sea at all the day before our departure. The inside of the property is great in terms of furnishing and utilities, the only thing that would be a great to have is a dryer, as the humidity makes it very difficult to air dry laundry. Original point still stands, this property is a gem and very accessible price-wise. Other than that there are hardly any drawbacks! Staff was very friendly, and we overall enjoyed our stay.

REVIEW***** We really enjoyed our 11 days at Casa Chanty. We stayed at the Sun Suite with our 4 kids (8, 5, 4 and 2 years old). The spot is just gorgeous. 30 minuts from the airport, private beach, very quiet place, pool. 30 minuts to playa Del Carmen and to lots of activities. We really enjoyed the place. The place is clean, the manager Alberto leaves right behind if we need anything and they make the cleaning every 2-3 days.
What more to expect?

We took Chief Beto for all the days during our stay and he was just perfect. He cooked everything we wanted (we like Mexican, Asian, Italian food) and cooked for my wife who is celiac (no gluten). Very good chief and really nice person. All our family enjoyed Beto’s food.

We are sharing our experience with our friends and family. We really recommend this place.

REVIEW *****Casa Chanty is wonderful! When we first arrived, we were stunned by the gorgeous views and calm, aqua water. The top level of the house has a wrap around window where you can sit and watch the gorgeous ocean, sunrise or moon. You can swim or kayak right in front of the house. The staff had cleaned the beach of seaweed prior to our arrival and the beach stayed perfect all week except for the last day when a storm brought more in. Chef Beto prepared our first meal and we loved it. It’s a nice perk to be able to have a meal on site the day you arrive. The house was fully equipped for our group of nine. Alberto, the on-site manager was kind, helpful and funny, and my kids enjoyed his friendly playful dogs. We will be back!

Answered all my questions in a promptly manner. **Proximity to beach is on point. **Dogs-Wally, Negrita and Bandido are very friendly, and well behaved. We stumble in Casa Chanty by chance while looking for a place where to spend a brief vacation in the area. We couldn’t have stumbled better: it is located right on the beach of Playa del Secreto 30 min drive from Cancun airport. The beach itself is just gorgeous, being very solitary and not crowded or loud, because the whole stretch is a residential area. But Casa Chanty makes the most of it: the big house is just on the beach and has all the comforts, inside and outside. In front there is a small pool, beds to rest in the shade or not, a table where to have a drink or dinner. It is just the perfect place to be to decompress and have a good time. I almost feel my words do not give justice to the experience. Alberto the host is always there to help. I will definitely go back!

Cristina’s place is incredible - the house is just as it’s pictured, and the location is even more incredible. The house in is a private neighborhood so you have the gorgeous beach almost to yourself, and the views from the penthouse are amazing. We spent lots of time in the ocean and pool - you really don’t need to leave for anything once you’ve arrived. Definitely do a dinner with Chef Beto during your stay, and give the house manager’s three adorable dogs lots of pets!

REVIEW from Christina "Better than all-inclusive resort!
My hubby and I stayed at Palafitos over the water bungalows in Cancun in April. And while beautiful, we’d pick Casa Chanty over ANY resort. First, the location and the privacy is perfect. Far enough away from Cancun to get away from the tourist traps but a quick drive if you want to hit Cancun at any time. Second, the penthouse made us feel at home. The layout, the gathering spaces, and the incredible view led our group to gather together to just soak up the atmosphere and each other. Third, Cristina, Alberto, and Beto were all WONDERFUL communicators. I knew exactly what to expect, where to go, and who to contact with questions. They were all fantastic. PLUS, Alberto’s 3 dogs were a little piece of home when we were missing our own fur babies! They were a welcome addition to our group! Fourth - location, location, location! Rent a car and go do and see all that the area has to offer. We did. Best adventure and memories we’ve had in a long time. Puerto Morales is 10 minutes away and the restaurants and open air bars along the beach are all fantastic. PLUS, you can find all the popular tours and activities right there on the beach!! And for about 1/4 of the cost elsewhere. So give back to the locals in TIPS! Be generous because it’s the right thing to do. Fifth - all of the bedrooms have A/C and the rooms get COLD. One of the rooms has blacked out windows to reduce the heat in that room. We could have slept for DAYS in there. Except we didn’t want to miss one minute of daylight!! There is an A/C in the living room, but don’t use it! Just open the doors and TA-DA . . . Cool air blowing through the entire living area. Last, but not least - CHEF BETO. He absolutely made our vacation head and shoulders above the bungalow resort stay. EVERY. SINGLE. MEAL. We are a group of foodies. We love all kinds of food from all over the world. Beto’s creations were some of the best food we’ve ever tasted. We checked in LATE at night- around 10:30pm. We asked Beto for a welcome dinner and expected our late arrival to have ruined it. NOPE! He had everything waiting in a perfectly warm oven and ready to uncover and devour. AND WE DID! Next day, he made us breakfast and from then on, we asked if he would make us dinner every night. We had Tuna skewers, Ceviche, carnitas, wings, mole, key lime pie, flan, and so much more. Every bite was amazing. And he stocked our fridge with all the items on our list. We were absolutely in Heaven. Will be back!!
