Just a big shout out to the brand new Moo Restaurant in the Malecon. We had dinner there last night (it was opening night) and the service was great, but more importantly the food is to die for. Best burgers and chicken sandwich I have ever had in Puerto Penasco! I had the Cluck Cluck Moo buffalo chicken sandwich and the Chicken breast was huge, moist and breading was perfect. The buffalo sauce was spicy but the fact they put pickles on the sandwich brought the spice down. My wife had the Boozy Burger, a huge cheese burger with a Jack Daniels deduction sauce, caramelized onions, and great sweet potato chips made for a great meal. Did I mention that all the buns are homemade? The chef is a genius and has hit upon a goldmine! Do yourself a favor and get in right away, this place will have long lines in no time.

Good afternoon friends, just a quick note to alert everyone one that A group of local business owners, friends and volunteers are distributing drinking water with the support of various community members. This includes assistance from various private water plants as well as the OOMAPAS water plant with backing from the local Rotary Club and others.

With all the money we have raised for food so far it’s been so appreciated, but we need to ask one more time for som additional additional financial support.
What we are looking for now is either money for gas or actual paid vouchers from the Pemex Station at Las Conchas. Our volunteers are spending more than $70/day with their trucks delivering the water. Please let me know if you want to help, I can either pick up the cash to buy the voucher for you or pick up the voucher. Those that don’t live here let me know and we can discuss another option to donate. We would love to get at least 10 days worth of gas paid for to the great people delivering water, a basic human need.
