😃 👉 Exciting news: in #2023, there was a significant increase in the number of nesting on the beautiful beaches of —a true testament to our collective effort toward CONSERVATION.

At , we have cared for 🤲🏾 508 nests 🥚🥚🥚, reflecting our real commitment to the PROTECTION of this iconic species.

✔️ With the donations raised through our “Turtles: Your Support, Their Future” campaign, CEDO secured the necessary permits to manage the nests and create a safe space for them.
✔️ Our goal is to establish the “Jñar Ñawaa” Turtle Camp (which means “Turtle House” in the Cucapá language). This camp will be crucial for ensuring the survival of turtle hatchlings, protecting them ex situ before releasing them into the ocean, their natural .
