Gary Thompson and the Free Malecon Sculpture Tours.

Galeria Pacifico's owner/director, Gary Thompson, created and serves as the guide of these popular tours. He has owned and run art galleries in Vallarta for over thirty eight years and he knows many of the sculptors represented on the Malecon.

Since 2005, these tours are meant to help visitors and residents to appreciate the beauty of Puerto Vallarta´s Malecon ocean promenade and the monumental sculptures mounted along it.

Donations are gratefully accepted at the end of the tours to benefit 100% Los Mangos Library.

This non-profit institution receives no state or federal government funding and only minimal municipal funds. However, it is the only library serving our area and has become an overall cultural and educational center. Donations from attendees of the tours and other fund raising efforts have enabled Los Mangos to continue serving our community.
