Mariscos Vargas is open in PV. We always enjoy the one in Mescales so we were excited to see this new location! Shrimp ceviche con salsa Negra! Crab Empanada! Shrimp - 3ways! French mango water! All So yummy ! Way to much for 2 people- so lunch for tomorrow too :) Across from Cinemex at Plaza Caricol. You can't miss the lovely palapa with casual but classy ambiance. The kitchen starts each meal by serving you a cup of consume and today they also sent us smoked marlin to try with salsas & tostadas/crackers.

What makes a succesful date night? My POV - A restaurant with great food & the friendliest service, a view of the TV with the Suns game on but also a view of the ocean. Pop music playing but you can still hear the waves crashing on the Malecon. Other guests chatting in Spanish, English and French. Bueno provecho. Bon apptit.

Sunday Funday - live music & dancing, amazing BBQ (seriously both the pork & beef ribs were phenomenal with big portions) and football viewing. Along with friendly service, a long beverage list & clean bathrooms. Nestled in the jungle between the Rio Quale (river) and the mountains - this place is a hidden gem, theres lots of room to enjoy and have fun, including a pickle a ball court & corn hole. They are open daily (no evenings) with live music all days expect Monday also closed all Summer. Parking is challenging but most people walk or get dropped off.

This meal & ambiance were fantastic! A blacked pork chop with mango chutney & chicken Piccata, we both chose the saffron, lemon risotto with broccoli - really good. All with friendly service & the sound of the waves lapping the beach in front of us.

This Italian sailboat built in 1931 was docked in PV & it was stunning ! PV was chosen as 1 of just 28 ports in the world they chose to visit.

The goal for this visit to our PV home - more ROOFTOPS!! Like the name of the restaurant says the panoramic views are spectacular. We had a very good meal with friendly staff, tableside cooking & a great sunset. There are also 2 additional floors of open patios for a complete 360 view of Vallarta. The live performer was easy listening guitar & vocals that we enjoyed. This is an older restaurant & hotel but we'll maintained and easy parking.
