Several Caribbean nations (such as Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Turks and Caicos Islands). Canada and the United States share the same country code (+1) due to their interconnected history and early development of telephone systems. Here's a breakdown of the reasons:
