Since yesterday was Oceans Day, we have been feeling a little bit nostalgic and wanted to share this video where we can hear whales vocalizations very clear. There are groups of scientists around the world monitoring constantly the noise we produce with our activities. Since we are in quarantine (or most of us) that noise has been diminishing in the past weeks. As a result, they found that with quieter oceans, they get more whales vocalization and clear recordings. Isn't it amazing?

Close encounter
One of the most incredible experiences we ever had!! One courious whale was "checking us up" very close and almost "hi five" Lilia, our biologist on board. What a happy moment! Thanks to Andres, our volunteer, for taking the video.
