Taco de cochinita pibil! Well, one of the favorites in the tour. This local family with a more than 50 years recipe slowly cook this pork overnight, marinated with the famous mayan mixture of spices, wrapped in banana leafs, this pork melts in the mouth! Yuuum.

Calabaza de pipian! This type of pumpkin or calabaza in Spanish, produces the very well appreciated pumpkin seeds, pepitas de calabaza! Native to Mexico, all squashes and pumpkins have been crucial on the Mexican diet. From moles, to sweets and drinks, these veggies are basic on Mexican gastronomy, a big part of our culinary history and identity.
