La microcuenca El Tepalo es uno de los espacios más poblados alrededor del . Los 50 mil habitantes de la zona (enclavada en el municipio de ) dependen de los bosques de la sierra para recargar el agua de sus pozos y para protegerlos de derrumbes y deslaves, que son frecuentes cuando la vegetación se pierde. En el Programa estamos trabajando con grupos locales y autoridades para proteger la zona forestal para mantener la salud de los ecosistemas y el bienestar humano.

Dear Friends, we have not changed our office but moved it back a bit. Instead of entering from the front (Calle Chula Vista 122) we have created a side entrance on Calle del Parque almost in front of Notary No. 2 in Chula Vista.
