First Step Experiences is presenting “Calaca Tour Alamos 2023” a 3-day and 2-night experience in Alamos
Álamos will hold its traditional Calaca festival from November 1 to 4, in coordination with the Sonoran Institute of Culture, with various cultural and artistic activities that will take place in the venues, alleys and squares of the magical town. Come with us to enjoy the main activities taking place on the 2nd of November (official day of the dead in mexico).
Street theater performances, tapancos, exhibitions, art and terror routes are part of the Calaca Festival, which aims to unite families in the northwest of the country. “Tour of Callejón Almada, where there is a collection of epitaphs that you can see, then in the different alleys of the town they are decorated so that people know what the Day of the Dead is. As well as traditional festival where women dressed as catrinas perform, mariachi, altar competition, Legends such as the appearance of the maiden in white, the hidden catacombs of the church, the pantheon that is more than 300 years old, are part of the stories that are told within the framework of the Day of the Dead. Historical old buildings and large churches dating back to the 16th century, are part of these stories that will be presented until November 4.
Our tour departs from San Carlos Thursday morning of November 2nd and returns on Saturday evening of November 4th.
