Como cada año somos parte de este importante evento, el conteo navideño de aves.

National Audubon Society está organizando la temporada 123 de su Conteo Navideño de Aves (CBC) anual de Audubon. Entre el 14 de diciembre y el 5 de enero, decenas de miles de voluntarios amantes de las aves participarán en conteos en todo el hemisferio occidental. A lo largo de doce décadas de recolección de datos, los participantes han contribuido significativamente a alimentar uno de los dos únicos grandes conjuntos de información existentes que notifican a los ornitólogos y biólogos de la conservación sobre qué acciones de conservación son necesarias para proteger a las aves y los lugares que necesitan.

Para el caso de Chiapas donde por 21 años se ha llevado a cabo el conteo navideño, este invierno no es la excepción. Unete con nosotros y se parte de esta experiencia.

Como cada año estaremos en la ruta del Parque Nacional Canon del Sumidero, 06:30 am, amantes de la observación y fotografía de las aves, los esperamos y aquellos interesados que deseen conocer este nuevo mundo en la naturaleza son bienvenid@s.

Diciembre, muchas aves migratorias han vuelto a sus sitios donde pasaran el inverno, en Chiapas a pesar de la deforestación sigue teniendo sitios donde poder ver muchas de estas aves que comparten territorios con las especies residentes (aquellas especies que se encuentran en todo el año, algunas consideradas endémicas por pertenecer a regiones únicas).

En nuestro tour de 5 días por los alrededores de San Cristóbal de las Casas, la reserva de la Biosfera el Ocote y el Cañón del Sumidero logramos ver y fotografiar algunas aves, siendo unas de hábitos nocturnos Como el tecolote barbudo (Bearded Screech Owl) y el tecolote Oyamelero (Unspotted Saw-whet Owl).

Sin duda los recorridos nocturnos los consideramos especiales! el crepúsculo, la entrada a la vida nocturna en los bosques donde mucha biodiversidad puede verse, escucharse y percibirse con el olfato, plantas que desprende su aroma para atraer a sus polinizadores….

The RoyalFlycatcher team has the experience and knowledge of many years in bird conservation. Stays abroad, participation with national and international organizations. Biodiversity Gardens; With this program we invite society to know the biodiversity of its gardens using the ebird and naturalist applications. In the Aplomado Learning with Raptors program; Through rehabilitated birds, we take talks to schools and communities to promote the knowledge and respect of birds.
