We lost our entire barn with everything in it. Lodgings, kitchen, bathroom, farm tools and all the materials saved to build covered stalls for the horses this year.

Magda and Alex have moved about over a month ago at last.
They are very happy in their own dry, clean and cosy own space. One fun note, Magda decided to join her sisters in law in the row of their washing system instead of have her own at home. I think it’s so delightful how every women has their own spot and would rather wash together. Mexican culture…I love it. Enjoy the fruits of your generosity.

Magda and Alex have moved in a month ago at last. They are very happy in their dry, clean and cosy very own space. We are working on the stove project (we will share updates soon). One funny thing, Magda decided to join her sisters in law in the row of their washing system instead of having her own inside her house.
I think it’s so funny how every women has their own spot and they’d rather wash all together. Mexico culture, i love it. Enjoy the fruits of your generosity.

You will find us in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, 45 min south of San Cristóbal de las Casas, hidden in a gorgeous valley surrounded by pine and oak forests.

At Evergreen, we are dedicated to the improvement and protection of the land creating an ideal environment for agriculture and organic gardening. Our horses, cows, sheep and chicken are free ranged.
