In front of Coral Baja, our friends spotted a momma Olive Ridley digging her nest. Before they knew it, several other mommas crawled up to do the same. We notified Gabriel & he collected the nests. He moves them to a safe area where they’ll incubate in the sand over the next couple months. Once the eggs hatch, the hatchlings are returned to the sea. Help us, help them.

Beaches are closed today as the sea settles from the storm & rain yesterday. Thank you Zofemat for cleaning the beaches & keeping us safe.

Debido a las condiciones de fuerte oleaje y a las tareas de limpieza en las playas, hasta el momento los guardavidas de ZOFEMAT Los Cabos han emitido una bandera negra en las siguientes playas:

🏴Playa Las Viudas.
🏴Playa El Chileno.
🏴Playa Santa María.

Se les recomienda a los visitantes seguir las indicaciones de los guardavidas y tomar las precauciones necesarias para garantizar su seguridad.

Guía del Significado de las Banderas:

⬛️ Bandera Negra: Nivel de advertencia más alto. No nadar.
🟥 Bandera Roja: Condiciones peligrosas.
🟨 Bandera Amarilla: Tenga cuidado al nadar.
🟩 Bandera Verde: Las condiciones del agua son seguras para nadar.

Tours canceled this morning. We received some much needed rain, big swell & winds today from tropical storms passing to the south of Los Cabos. Guess we all weren’t prepared! 😱

Tropical Storms Fabio and Emilia Bring Rain and a Bit of Chaos as they Move Northwestward into the Pacific.

A big ooops for the captain that was caught unaware by the rain and swells caused by the two systems that are currently moving away fromnour shores.

Tropical storm conditions here in Los Cabos; gusty winds & rain off & on since yesterday. We are fairing well. Hurricane Hilary is a doozy, but thankfully for Cabo, she stayed off shore. Hope she calms before hitting landfall up north. Zofemat has the black flags out on all the beaches. Please be careful!
