3 different adventures, 2 different locations, one guide?
How will you spend your vacation?
Fun day with the pool all to ourselves!
While what you see out on the ocean here varies and is often a stroke of luck, Cabo Blue Trimaran seem to be blessed with the good stuff.
Its hard to tell, but what you are seeing is a mother humpback giving birth and assisting the new born with its first breath.
That two for you Cabo Blue!
Sliding out of 2024 and into 2025 like...
Fun day with some bull sea lions up close and personal.
A little over a year ago I got an inquiry about a sea lion swim for a group of 8 from the PNW. Multi generational, family and friends group wanted something big. From the first volley of messages, we clicked and I knew this was going to be a fun group. They tried to warn me that they could get rowdy and loved to have a good time. I laughed and said challenge accepted and it was on from there. About a months worth of messages and calls and their arrival finally came. For weather reasons I had to put them on the tour the day after a long travel day which I try not to do but it was the only day that week that looked good. The next morning it was like I was meeting old friends and taking them for a fun day. I was greeted with hugs, smiles and that feeling knowing perfect strangers for years. We had an amazing day with some wildly active and playful sea lions in large groups. Super exciting. By the end of the day, we were family. They had a fishing trip booked and I hooked them up with some bloody marys for that morning. Its called The Day Wrecker for a reason and well, Mike, "Papa" enjoyed the living sh*t out of them and his day was WRECKED fo sho lol. I got some funny pics of him sleeping on the boat later that morning.
Fast forward to the present.
Here they are again, the whole family but this time with the kids and a boyfriend tag along. They wanted the waterfalls and another epic day. Game on. Delivered. Incredibly fun and exciting day of adventure, food, ice cream and playing with the earths latitudes!
All this time I had no idea that Papa Mike was hiding a gift he had for me. He had been following the tragic loss of my beloved Shana. His heart hurt for me knowing that the year before I had spoken of her like the apple of my eye when talking about her. Seeing all the pics of her and I he said he could feel the connection her and I had.
Papa Mike is an artist. An artist with a special craft and a special gift. Yesterday he gave me something I didnt ever expect,
Pup just takin a look around
Happy Thanksgiving to all my US peeps!
Today is a fun day for me. I take myself out on Cabo Blue boat, enjoy the open bar, play with my cameras in the water without having anyone to look after, just me. Then I pick up a couple of the incredible turkey spreads that Stephanie at Hooliganz Corner bar puts on to take home, eat and watch something fun on the Flix. Its a ME day!
Shot this video last year on turkey day. Lets see what I score this year.
Whale shark season is open! As of this morning!
lol But its closed! Due to wind lol.
This is a pro tip for all sea life tours in La Paz.
CHECK THE WEATHER BEFORE YOU BOOK!
Whether you book with me or anyone else, having the weather in your pocket could save you refund hassles.
If the 10 day forecast for La Paz shows high winds the week, or how ever long you are here, dont book it. Pick a day that has favorable wind conditions. 10-12mph at most if out of the north. Even if its out of the south, the waves wont be the problem, but all that sand and dust hitting the water will be and you wont see anything.
A prime day, for you best experience is a day of less than 10mph out of the north, north east. Best days of all are at the 5mph range in any direction. Faily glassy water and better visibility at all the destinations in the bay of La Paz to north of Isla Espiritu Santos/Partida.
All that being said, Lets go play with some Dinosharks!
Correction. Gabby is out there now as the port captain did not close the bay yet.
But she says its awful rough out there.
They may yet still get recalled to the harbor. Winds are only picking up.
Teaser clip from the other day. Damn I love this job.
For every single person I take on a sea lion or whale shark swim, is that many less people going swimming with captive dolphins.
I can never promise the dolphins, but my coworkers seem to believe that I have a deal with them to always come and give us a hello.
Come see them with me. In their space, on their time, and on their terms. It will touch parts of your soul you didnt know existed.
Guilt free, heart warming and adrenaline pumping adventure you will never forget.
This was yesterdays tour and escort by some of the mothers royalty.

Wow. I really need to thank everyone for supporting me. Every year is growing. This year is a mix of new clients and existing clients about 50/50.
This is the most bookings I have had yet and also the earliest bookings.
I am humbled by how much people have enjoyed what I do, the words they say after each tour. I can see on their faces a sense of calm and accomplishment. Its why I love what I do.
Thank you everyone.
