"Coco Zumel was an absolute gem!!!!! It was so clean and comfortable! It was in an actual neighborhood vs. down on the busy and tourist-filled hotels and resorts, which we preferred! It was a very quick taxi ride down to the town if you wanted! We ended up renting a jeep so we could drive over to the "wild side" of the island, which I highly recommend! (Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, was AMAZING!!!). We arrived earlier than expected and Severine (and Nico) were quick to respond and accommodate us! So thankful! The kiddos loved the plunge pool and patio! We did too! We spent most of our time out there! The kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed to cook, which I appreciated! The beds were very comfortable, also! (Only thing that would have been nice would have been small size shampoo/body wash available, as we were not traveling with any this time! No big deal, we grabbed some at the grocery store, just know this ahead of time!) Other than this small detail, nothing else was missed! Severine has this house set up beautifully and it truly is a gem! If (when) we return to Cozumel, we would absolutely stay here again!!! Thank you Severine for opening your home to us! We just loved it!!! Reccomendations: ~Torino's (just moved to new location just a block away from AirBnb! It was a great atmosphere and super delicious! ~Blue Angel for breakfast, lunch or dinner! All were amazing! Awesome ocean view, super laid back and the food and drinks were really good! Live music outside also! ~We went to a little neighborhood taco joint (Los Tacotales), SUPER GOOD!!! We prefer supporting these little local, neighborhood places and the food is always better (in our opinion)!!! Give this one a try! ~Rent a car/jeep and take a drive to the Punta Sur Eco Beach Park! We took a quick little boat tour and saw crocodiles! We then went to a beach there that was SOOOO chill with beautiful blue water and it had drinks and food! This was our favorite day! "
