"We are in love with this little slice of heaven! It allowed my family to have their own rooms, everything you could possibly want and need, a spectacular balcony with a view of the beach and colorful sunsets at the end of the day. We are so impressed with the attention to details and what would make you feel comfortable and at home in a foreign place! We will be back, and I will shout from the mountain tops of the Seabreeze at Rocky Point! Love love love this place!

Dolphins! On the balcony taking a little break from working on projects to keep the condo in tip-top shape and watched multiple sets of dolphins cruising along from the east to the west.
I always enjoy that!

I've heard some boats are even shooting off fireworks.

One of the cute boutique shops right outside Sonoran Spa resort (where Seabreeze Rocky Point Mexico Vacation Rental is located) is Plaza Fabiola (they have a Rodeo Drive location and the Sandy Beach location right by us.) and they also opened La Cava Boutique de Vinos right next door, early this year. They do wine tastings and have different offerings each week. If that is something that interests you, you've got to check it out next time you're in Rocky Point! And it's a pleasant walk right outside our front gates. If you go and check them out, I would love to hear your experience!
Also, Plaza Fabiola carries the amazing Upper Sea of Cortez (Puerto Penasco and San Felipe) Tide Calendar. We pick one of these up each year to hang up in Seabreeze, as it's great to be able to easily look and see what the tide is going to be at any given time on any given date. We also get one to keep at our home back in the US, as it's a nice calendar, plus it has the tides. If you're in RP in the next month or 2, I highly recommend you stop in and buy one!!!

We have lots of room for your vehicles, trailers, toys and toy haulers in our secure, gated, on-site parking lot!!
If you are bringing your toys across the border, here is some good information to know!

This information clarifies the difference between crossing the border with a UTV and a street-legal vehicle or motorcycle on a trailer.

Typically, transporting OHVs on a trailer to Rocky Point goes smoothly without any issues. However, occasional situations make you question whether the regulations are being enforced correctly or if the agent is trying to pull a fast one.

As the translation is referred to in Spanish, SXS, quads, dirt bikes, etc., fall into the “recreational vehicle” category or “built for off-road” purposes.
(Motocicletas, trimotos, o motos acuáticas que NO hayan sido concebidas, destinadas, fabricadas, para circular por vías generales de comunicación) can be transported on a trailer.

Street-legal licensed vehicles like jeeps, street-legal motorcycles, etc. (fabricadas para circular por las vías generales) must cross under their own power and not on a trailer.

There are certain restrictions to the trailering regulation that you should know about when transporting OHVs
1. Registrations must be current and in your name or person in the vehicle.
2. Only 3 OHVs per trailered vehicle are allowed, with three or more occupants.
3. No triple axle trailers, as they are considered commercial trailers. (not including toy haulers)
A UTV with street-legal registration is still considered a vehicle designed for off-road use. I mention this because an agent incorrectly informed someone they could not transport a UTV on a trailer.
Many gray areas, such as street-legal vehicles converted to off-road vehicles, raise questions.
Often, agents overlook these regulations, while at other times, they enforce them.
While not being in compliance is one issue, being compliant yet still facing harassment, extortion, or bribery to enter Mexico is another matter entirely.
We hope this regulation will be relaxed for those who intend to bring their street-legal motorcycle on a trailer to the Rocky Point Rally. If we get any new information, we will let you know.

In Rocky Point, turtles nest from June to December. If you are fortunate enough to witness this event, please help protect them by doing the following:
🤔 What should I do if I see a turtle track or a nesting turtle?
If 🫵 see a sea 🐢 on the beach, whether coming out of or returning to the sea, 📞 call 911. They will notify the authorized people and institutions. 👨‍💻🧑‍⚕️
🫵 can help 🤝 by noting the location 📍, the time ⌚️, and any details about what you are seeing 👀. You can also take photos 📷, as long as it is during the day and without flash (because turtles can get disoriented). 🤓

People often ask us about a recommendation for a quieter sunset cruise option. Del Mar Charters Mexico is who we recommend for a smaller, quieter day sail or sunset cruise. They only book like 20 guests, so it's a bit more of a family feel rather than a loud, chaotic, booze cruise feel. (If that's what you're looking for, we have recommendations for that also 😀)
We personally like the experience with our kids and grandkids on the catamaran, with a smaller group, with Capt. Oscar (who is fluent in both English and Spanish) and his amazing and friendly crew!

Yay! The potholes are getting fixed!

¡Este viernes 11 de octubre inician con los trabajos de colocación de , en la carretera federal #8! 🚧

Este día, en entrevista telefónica, el local por el segundo distrito, , confirmó que ya se cuenta con suficiente asfalto para cubrir los baches en la carretera federal #8, que conecta con . Este es un paso importante para mejorar la vialidad y seguridad de esta rúa tan transitada.

González Aguayo también detalló que se está coordinando con la del Estado de Sonora, la cual tiene como objetivo planificar, programar, presupuestar, ejecutar, conservar y mantener la infraestructura carretera. Se trata de un plan de emergencia para atender el deterioro actual de la , mientras se espera que el gobierno federal, liderado por la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum, ponga en marcha un proyecto de rescate para las carreteras federales.

Esta acción, aunque provisional, busca aliviar el riesgo para los conductores y brindar mayor seguridad a quienes transitan por esta vía. 🌄🚗
