It’s not just the restaurant and bar that’s getting exciting upgrades—our casitas have also received some fresh enhancements! Every summer, we promise ourselves a break and go on vacation, but we always end up with a paintbrush in hand instead *laughs cries! We love it, though, and have truly poured our hearts into all these projects. We hope you feel that love and care when you walk in 🫶🏻

And that’s a wrap! We’ve officially closed for the season. During the summer break, we’ll be making exciting renovations and upgrades to our kitchen, bar, and seating area. Plus, get ready for a refreshed and enhanced menu next season!

We owe our deepest gratitude to EVERYONE that supported us, especially to our incredible local community. Your support and love was felt all season and we’re so grateful.

A special shout-out to our amazing team (last pic, with some missing!) and everyone who helped us along the way. We couldn’t have done it without you. People often tell us that our place radiates good energy and feels like a family, and that’s because we truly are here. and , we love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you once again to everyone. We’ll be back in the fall with an improved facility, new food, new drinks, and some fun events already in the works. Stay tuned!

Photos from our most recent Oaxaca trip because… The weekend is almost here!!! We’re thrilled to be part of this year’s events! This year is extra special because they’ll be featuring guest chefs and bartenders from one of our favorite places in the world: Oaxaca, Mexico! The food, the people, the energy from Oaxaca are simply the best, and we can’t wait for you to experience it all.

There are multiple events lined up this weekend, and we’re excited to see you at all of them. Don’t forget, we’ll be hosting the after party / pre-party for , featuring some of the best bartenders in all of Mexico and incredible guest chefs. Join us for an unforgettable evening with DJ playing music until midnight.

After overcoming numerous challenges and delays throughout the year, we are excited to announce that our ambitious project is nearing completion!!! However as the summer heat intensifies and hurricane season looms on the horizon we've come to a decision: we won’t be opening our cafe / bar and shop doors till October 2023. A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who's been eagerly anticipating our grand opening alongside us 🥲 Hugs to you all and we’ll see you after the Baja summer!

Of course we had to choose one of the hottest days in June to unpack these beauties but we are just so excited! Our little shop is almost ready to unveil the masterpieces created by our dear friend and mega talenteded artist,

Alongside Genaro’s stunning art work, we will be exhibiting and selling a curated selection of our own prints, for those of you that don’t know we (Mariela and Santi, owners of Cien Palmas) are also photographers!

But that’s not it! We are looking to collaborate with other gifted Mexican artists and brands who share our passion for celebrating the creativity within our beloved country 🇲🇽 If you are an artist or designer who wishes to join forces with our tiendita, we eagerly await hearing from you. Together, we aspire to showcase the unique perspectives that make Mexico's art scene so, so, so extraordinary

Today is the day our amazing friend and new Cien Palmas chef arrives to Todos Santos!! He left LA to start this new venture with us and we couldn’t be more happy and excited! (*pinch us!) Everyone get ready for some incredibly delicious and beautiful food.

In addition to the cafe we’ll be opening a bar in the evenings with our other amazing friend and best bartender in Baja , he’ll be making and serving classic cocktails along with his signature recipes! If you’re lucky to know about the old Copa Cocina bar then you know how delicious his cocktails are. Ps. We’ll be serving drinks during the cafe hours too!

We’re so excited to be working with these two magical and creative humans 🖤 We’re hoping to see EVERYONE here early June, stay tuned for details!! Also, we’re opening a shop too!

When we opened our doors for hotel guests only in 2020 (during the pandemic!) we always thought about the day when we’d finally be able to open to the community and public… And that time is almost here!!! We’ll be open as a cafe in the mornings and as a bar in the evenings 🕺🏻 Stay tuned and see you soon!

Yesterday as we walked up the San Sebastián dunes towards the beach we saw three wild horsies lying on the sand, soaking in the sun and ocean breeze 🌊 We know we say it all the time but we REALLY love living here, it truly is magical ✨ Apologies for the overplayed song.. limited copyright music available 🥲

La Virgen De Guadalupe will always remind me (Mariela) of my mama. Last November marked 5 years since she had left this earth. On that day at the beach for some reason I just kept wanting to walk and walk, I turned the corner around some mountains and rocks to find this painting of the Virgin Mary. She sends me and my brother signs like this all the time. My point is MOMS are soooo magical even when they’re no longer with us they continue to show us love. Wow ♥️ Happy Mothers Day to all the moms, moms to be, moms trying to conceive, dog, cat and plant moms and those who have lost their moms. Sending you all love ♥️
