After some time away Avatar Adventures is back in Buisness offering teh best private tours in Tulum. Here are our new tour options.
The First tour starts with a reef snorkel in a beautiful Bay with a variety of Rays, hundreds of Tropical Fish and Sea turtles. We will start by kayaking to the reef which takes around 15min and is very fun. Once at the reef we will be snorkeling for 45min . That is paired with a amazing cave cenote deep in the jungle Know as Sac Actun(White Cave in Mayan). We snorkel through the main cave w hundreds of white mineral formations in crystal blue water giving the appearance of a crystal palace and emerge into a open cenote with a island of trees where sunlight shines through the water in beautiful rays. The last part we walk into and enter a magic setting with a single tree growing into the cenote. The cost of tour is $115 USD a person
The 2nd tour is the cenote route which we visit 2 different cenotes( Grand cenote and Casa Cenote each in a unique and beautiful setting. Casa cenote is a emerald green river that runs through the jungle for 250meters. It is home to many bird and fish species. As it is open to the sun you will be mesmerized as the sun beams pe*****te the water illuminating all around. Grand Cenote is one of the most famous and decorated Cenotes in the area. It was also one of first Cenotes to be explored and mapped out starting in 1987. It is the classic semi-open cave cenote with great exposer to the sun allowing water illumination combined with a cave overhang separating light and massive Columns and stalactites . The cost of that tour is $110 USD a person.
The 3rd tour option is The Coba Ruins/Cenote tour. Coba means Waters stirred by wind" as it is located by two large lagoons. Coba was one of the largest Mayan cities, with over 50,000 people once living here. This vast Mayan archeological site dates from 600-900 A.D. The huge ruins site stretches over 80 square kilometers, but much of the site, estimated 6,500 temples, has not been excavated yet
You will start tour being guided privately by a Mayan guide. Where you will see small to medium sized pyramids, temples and ball courts used as far back as 600 A.D.
After exploring the ruin sites, we will get on mountain bikes and ride to Nohoch-Mul pyramid. Adventurous clients will climb all 120 steep steps and enjoy the jungle views from the top. The final stop on the tour will be to swim in the absolute best cenote in Coba, Tamcach-ha.
Two platforms have been built for those who would like to jump into the cave from 30ft (9m) or 15 ft (5m). For those who prefer a more casual swim, the platform at water level is a great option. The cenotes is alkalized mineral water and leaves you with a greater sense of wellbeing. After the Cenote we will head to the the town of Coba for some delicious regional cuisine. The cost of that tour is 130 USD a person.
The first tours last around 6 hours with a 8 am pickup from your hotel and a 2 pm return. The Coba tour last around 7 hours with a 8 am pickup. Tours includes transportation, equipment, wetsuits, guide, ,beverages and a delicious local lunch. Let me know what you think and I will get you on the books.
