Located at 25 min from Playa del Carmen in the heart of the Riviera Maya, 4 km south of Akumal and 16km before Tulúm, is the natural park of “Aktun Chen” a Mayan name that means “natural well inside a cave”. CAVE

During this route you will have a specialized guide who will explain you how cavern´s are formed, as well as the use and relation that Mayan civilization had with caves. The park counts with a 6 acres area wildlife zoo where you will see: white tail deer, wild Collared Peccary, parrots, toucans, oco pheasants, agoutis, sereques, coatímundi, night mico as well as an attractive serpentarium of the region´s serpents. Come and live a unique view of the tropical jungle from above, enjoy the sounds of an aerial experience flying throughout a kilometer in our incredible 10 lines canopy and 2 suspended bridges. All canopy platforms and inclinations are designed so that any person no matter experience or age can enjoy the flight. Contemplate plants and exotic flowers like orchids and bromelias. Our professional guides and equipment will make of your jungle experience a completely reliable and safe adventure. NATURAL WELL
Refresh yourself and enjoy a magical experience snorkelling in a 5 million years old underground crystal clear natural well, all of this without scuba tank but enjoying incredible underwater sights just as divers do. This natural well is full of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites where you will find a magic snorkel experience of light and colour.
