Located 5 minutes from the airport, Casa de la Tortuga is near Playa Larga and not too far from Barra de Potosí where numerous seafood restaurants known as enramadas front the beach and a large lagoon. There are also several restaurants within easy walking distance. We are located about 15 minutes by car from Zihuatanejo and 25 minutes from Ixtapa. By staying at Casa de la Tortuga you are also contributing to the conservation of sea turtles by helping us fund the non-profit organization, Campamento Tortuguero Ayotlcalli, a sea turtle rescue and conservation center located on the same property as us. Besides offering comfortable quality vacation lodging, we are committed to helping protect and preserve the sea turtles that make their nests annually along our coast.
