A day hike into the Lojing forest area to see the Rafflesia Kerrii (2nd largest flower in the world!) in its various flowering stages. With a diameter reaching a meter or more, the flower is a magnificent sight to behold with its striking dark red colouration and notable putrid scent.

These flowers are protected by the local indigenous people, the Temiars whom we engage directly as part of working with the local community. Join us on this sweet exploration of a life time!

🏵️ Please note that the blooming of Rafflesia has no specific season but the rainy season provides better blooming frequencies. It takes 9 months to mature and flowering lasts only 4 or 5 days before dying.

Gunung Berembun is located at Cameron Highlands and it can be easily accessed from Sungai Pauh Camp Site, a nature camp site hidden in the rainforest near Taman Sedia, a small residential village in Tanah Rata. Peaked at 1,836m above sea level, it normally takes about 3 hours to reach the summit. It is also known to be an enjoyable & gentle climb for casual trekkers.

Mt Siku is a mountain in Cameron Highlands’ Blue Valley where you can enjoy beautiful moss gardens and wild highlands orchids. Peaked at 1,916m above sea level, it normally takes about 3 hours to reach the summit. Highly recommended for casual trekkers who would like to experience picturesque moss gardens along the trail without having to spend longer hikes.

Mt Brinchang Barat is the second highest mountain in the Cameron Highlands after Mt Irau. This mountain attracts less tourist and visitors due to its inaccessibility. Altitude at 2005m above sea level, Brinchang gardens, highlands orchid & pitcher plant draped in this lush rainforest grounds. A challenging 6 to 7 hours climb to complete the whole trail, it makes Mt Brinchang Barat trail the best option if you would like to have longer hike & enjoy extra time in the unique highland tropical jungle.

Gunung Irau is the highest mountain in Cameron Highlands, perched next to Gunung Brinchang at 2,110 meters above sea-level. A popular hiking ground for visitors, the trail to conquer Mt Irau summit begins where the Mossy Forest boardwalk ends, taking between 6 to 7 hours to complete the whole trail. Along the way, don’t forget to enjoy a fascinating kaleidoscope of dainty orchids, moss gardens, peculiar shrubs and pitcher plants.
