54 tahun~~~Perayaan Bon Odori merupakan acara kebudayaan yang tidak boleh dilepaskan di Pulau Pinang.

Festival ini adalah perayaan tradisional masyarakat Jepun yang dipanggil Bon Odori .
Setiap tahun Bon Odori yang biasanya diadakan pada bulan Julai atau Ogos adalah untuk memperingati roh nenek moyang.
Festival Bon Odori di Pulau Pinang bermula dari tahun 1970-an lagi, merupakan hasil inisiatif komuniti Jepun tempatan dan juga Persatuan Kebudayaan Jepun.
Ia merupakan satu langkah matlamat dalam mempromosikan budaya Jepun di Pulau Pinang. Sejak itu, ia telah berkembang menjadi salah satu acara yang paling dinanti-nantikan.
Di sini, anda boleh menikmati persembahan Bon Odori yang memukau, pameran pakaian kimono yang indah dan juga terdapat pelbagai gerai makanan Jepun yang lazat serta permainan tradisional yang menyeronokkan.
Setiap tahun, festival ini telah berjaya menarik ribuan penduduk tempatan dan pelancong menyertai festival in.
Festival Bon Odori Pulau Pinang bukan sahaja tempat untuk merayakan nenek moyang dan perjumpaan keluarga, tetapi juga platform untuk mengenali dan juga menyelami keindahan budaya Jepun.
Ia mencerminkan semangat inklusif dan keterbukaan masyarakat pelbagai budaya Pulau Pinang.
