The Penang National Park also known as Taman Negara Pulau Pinang in Malay is a nature reserve that covers an area of 2,652 ha of lowland dipterocarp forest and wetlands, is a treasure trove for scientist and nature lovers, who comes for its 1000 flora and 143 fauna species Besides the animals spotted in the area such as monkeys, squirels, Birds, snakes, reptiles and insects, it also include variou

s eco-system including dipterocarp forest, mangrove swamps, mudflat, beaches, a mixed salt and fresh water lake and wetlands. Starts the tour by hiking from Teluk Bahang Fishing Village into the hilly forested area brings visitors through a tropical rain forest, passing by a peat swamp and stopping beside a fresh water stream for a picnic and refreshing dip into its ice-cool water and arrive at Pantai Kerachut, which has one of the highest numbers of landings for Green and the endangered Olive-Ridley Turtles in Penang. At a turtle conservation centre, lucky visitors can catch the sight of baby turtles wriggling their way to the open sea upon release. Visitors then take a leisurely boat ride to Teluk Duyung or more popularly known as Monkey Beach by locals, then half an hour hike up the hill at 227m above sea level at Muka Head will take visitors to the scenic surrounding from atop of old lighthouse built by the British back in 1883. Visitors may enjoy swimming at the beach or picnic before heading back to Teluk Bahang fishing village by boat and tour ends there. NOTES TO VISITORS

Comfortable walking/running shoes are recommended for this difficult level tour. Since the hiking trail will involve climbs up steep and hilly terrain, this tour is not recommended for those who are not physically fit. Tour Inclusions:
