💥 Boys’ Team Fee: RM 250 (Max 32 teams)
💥 Girls’ Team Fee: RM 200 (Max 16 teams)

⚠️ Each team should include only one national youth player.
If no national youth player is available, the team must include two state players.

Today, I had the privilege of meeting Mr Alex Sanchez, the chief executive officer of 3x3 International Basketball Federal (FIBA), at my office in Komtar.

Since 2010, he has been spearheading FIBA’s initiative in 3x3 basketball. Alex was instrumental in crafting the initial white paper outlining the vision of 3x3 basketball. He currently serves as the managing director of FIBA’s 3x3 business unit. He also played a key role in securing the inclusion of 3x3 basketball in the Olympic Games.

I am thrilled to know that he is lending his support to the Penang FIBA 3x3 Challenger, Grassroots & Corporate Tournament, and Basketball Clinic, scheduled to take place from May 28 to June 2 at the main atrium of Queensbay Mall.

Also present to discuss 3x3 basketball were YB Daniel Gooi Zi Sen, the state executive for Youth, Sports and Tourism; Harry Chai Heng Huat, director of Penang State Sports Council; Chew Kok Rui, sports development officer of PSSC; Datuk Ooi Khoon Yong, president of Penang Basketball Association; Datuk Khor Siang Gin, managing director of Hunza Group and World Hoops Sdn Bhd directors Grace Khor, Lim Hun Ping and Poh Chu Tan.
