Hat Yai Municipal Park is located on Kanchanawanit Road and is approximately 6km from the city centre on the Hat Yai-Songkhla Highway. A popular recreational spot for the local residents, the park is beautifully decorated with colorful flowers. With a pavilion in the middle of the pond, an aviary, and food stalls, the park is the perfect place to spend a peaceful evening. Additional attractions include a statue of King Rama V that is enshrined at the foot of the hill near the aviary, a hill-top Brahman shrine and a jade statue of Guan-yin, the Chinese Goddess situated, at the southern foothill near the boy-scout camp.

Service hours: 06:00 to 21:00

Hat Yai City Municipal is located in Hat Yai district in Songkhla covering the area of 1 square kilometers. It is 945 kilometers away from the Bangkok city, 27 kilometers away from Songkhla city and 60 kilometers away from Thai-Malay border (Sadao custom).

Highlights within the Park:
22 - Hat Yai Science and Astronomy Center (Astronomical Observatory)
It is a completed astronomical and scientific learning center full of technological tools including exhibition rooms, cinema rooms and observatory which fulfill children’s imagination and share knowledge to those who interest in astronomy.
The center is open daily from 09.00 to 20.00 at Hat Yai Municipal Park. The entrance fees are 20 baht only. For more information, please contact 074-531863.

24 - Hat Yai Ice Dome
Hat Yai Ice Dome offers ice sculptures created by high-skilled sculptors from Harbin City in China. The temperature inside is minus 15 Celsius (-15 °C) located in the area of 1,700 square kilometers.
It is open daily from 09.00-21.00 at Hat Yai Municipal Park. The entrance fee is 200 baht for Thai visitors, 100 baht for children (not above 150 cm.) and 300 baht for foreign visitors and 150 baht for children. For more information, please contact 074-219333.

Hat Yai Cable Car is a recent addition to the Hat Yai Park and is the first cable car in Thailand offering a convenient and trendy way to travel fromPhra Buddha MongkolMaharajtoThaoMahaPhromwith the guaranteed standard from Europe.It takes only 2 minutes and 30 seconds for the ride. Meanwhile, visitors will also experience the beautiful view of Hat Yai city.
