For villagers, it has become a part of their daily life; a channel to travel across water, especially in the roadless Kampung Kaung Ulu. However, many city-goers nowadays have never even seen or tried crossing one before. A part of Sabahan culture is easily lost due to modernisation.

The Sabah Pineapple Farmstay is an exciting Hopes Malaysia project in Kampung Kaung Ulu, Kota Belud. Just an hour and a half away from Kota Kinabalu, this quaint and calming village makes for the perfect nature getaway as it is surrounded by an array of natural resources.

As part of assisting the villagers in developing a sustainable tourism destination, our organisation aims to start a corporate social responsibility (CSR) retreat programme for local companies and a kadazan-dusun cultural experience for the urbanites. We offer essential activities, such as team building exercises and the escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hiking, Farming, Water activities, our farmstay has it all for you to experience during your trip.
