It wasn’t my first time seeing a proboscis monkey, but the first time I watched one descend from the treetops to drink from the river felt extraordinary. Its long nose, almost comical yet graceful, dipped toward the water as if it were part of the river's quiet rhythm. What a majestic creature ☺️
