The trendiest camping spot right now in Tumpat.💦☀️

This school holiday is perfect for bringing your kids to camp in the safe casuarina forest here.

Now at The Rhu Beach Resort, there's a camping site on the sand under the casuarina trees right by the beach.

For just RM10, you can rent a camping spot, but you'll need to bring your own tent.

Facilities available here:
- Swimming pool
- Chalet and rooms
- BBQ area and volleyball court
- Comfortable restrooms

It's been a long time since I had Mee Kolok like this.

Abe La is going to start a new series of visits to viral cafes, but with pictures 😫.

Pure Sarawak-style because the owner, Mama is from Sarawak.

Yesterday, when meeting with Quick Fresh HQ agents, Abe La stopped by to try some food at a cafe that went viral before.

Spent almost RM100.

We ordered:
- Fried Mee Kolok
- Mee Kolok Soup
- Terubuk Fish Fried Rice
- Several types of Kek Lapis

Out of everything, Abe La liked the Terubuk Fish Fried Rice the most, along with the Strawberry and Lisa Jane Kek Lapis.

The cafe has an old Chinese house vibe, rustic retro but colorful. There's an upstairs dining area, but the stairs are quite high.

There's a prayer room too, perfect for those who want to eat around Maghrib time.

It's completely different from before 🍃💦☀️

I've noticed for a long time that it used to be somewhat neglected, but now they say there's new management.

Only RM10 to enjoy some healing in the Rhu forest in Tumpat.

If you like camping, you should try staying at The Rhu Beach Resort in Pantai Geting, Tumpat. The campsite rental is just RM10, and it's safe inside the fenced Rhu forest.

For swimming in the pool, it's only RM10 for adults and RM5 for kids.

If you don't want to stay in a tent, you can book a chalet or cabin room starting from RM99 and up.

Activities here include:

Every time I pass by, I always stop here. If you go late, it's already sold out. 😱😱😬

The cheapest Hi Tea in Cameron Highlands ✨

I never really understood the concept of Hi Tea before because I thought it was just about eating kuih 🤣 But it turns out that having Hi Tea in Cameron gives you a completely different vibes.

We found the cheapest Hi Tea set, only RM28 per set, which includes a pot of hot tea and milk.

You can enjoy it on a hilltop veranda in Brinchang town.

The location is at Spring Hills Resort, just behind the Brinchang Fire Station.

For RM28, you get sandwiches, scones, strawberries, cakes, and drinks.

You won’t find this price anywhere else.

This tea plantation is getting even better ♥️

In the past, at Bharat Cameron Valley 1, you could only take a buggy to the waterfall area.

Now, you can hike all the way to its landmark, offering incredibly beautiful views. There are plenty of OOTD spots along the hike up to the Cameron Valley sign.

At the bottom, there’s a café, rest area, and a river—lots of new things to explore.

Buggy tickets are RM20 per person.
If you walk yourself, it’s around RM3-4 per person, I think.

Better to take the buggy; climbing that hill is exhausting.

Abe La rarely eats rice for breakfast 🙏🙏

But last week, I had to give in because I couldn't resist the temptation of the dishes at Lauk Pok Hok in Pasir Pekan.

The story goes that Abe Ja Dnars invited me to eat here because Pok Hok was his ex-classmate back in the day.

The highlights here are the serati khutuk, daging khutuk, ayam kg goreng, and ikan ayo curry.

This isn't a paid review, Abe La doesn’t do paid reviews in Kelate. We eat on our own, pay on our own, and review however we like 😊

Passing through Bukit Bunga, you'll miss out big time if you don't eat here 😍😮‍💨😋

This has been my favorite spot since 2018, and I always come here. Moksu Bintang's Thai menu is much cheaper compared to other places.

The must-try dishes are Ikan Paed Piaw, perut bulat bakar, Miang Pla Pao garam kasar, and pulut ayam.

Maggi with air asam perut bulat sold out 200 packets a day when it went viral.

Now you can go eat there since it’s not as crowded as when it first went viral. What I like about their sour broth is that they mix it with boat noodle soup and budu, a unique taste you can't find anywhere else. The V'E Cafe in Gunong Bachok.

Other must-try items include Perut Bulat Bakar and the Set Talam Bakar Thai.

The highest satisfaction-rated hotel in Cameron Highlands.

They also have the cheapest steamboat and high tea.

Last week, I was at a loss about where to stay in CH. Since we go to CH almost every week, we feel like we've stayed everywhere.

While searching, we found a hotel behind the Brinchang Fire Station, checked the ratings, and was shocked. It has a 4.8 rating on Google, with 662 reviews—not just any hotel.

The room I stayed in was a connecting room for RM331 on Agoda at that time, with a single room for RM220, so we booked it right away.

Follow my review of staying at Springhills Resort, Cameron Highlands.

What's great:
1. The hotel has an old English theme but has been newly renovated, really beautiful.
2. They have a steamboat set for RM28 per person in the lobby, great for eating with a hill view.
3. They offer a high tea set for RM28 that you can order right upon arrival.
4. The location has an amazing view of Brinchang town.
5. The service and staff are the friendliest we've encountered in CH.
6. Parking is right in front of the room.

Healing by the beach with a big pool in Tumpat.

Set up a tent in the Rhu forest behind Rhu Beach Resort.

Previously known by a different name, it's now more comfortable under new management at The Rhu Beach Resort.

I like it here because the pool is large. Even if you stay in a RM50 room, you can enjoy the pool to your heart's content.

Rooms here start from RM99 to over RM200. Tent site rental is RM10, and BBQ set rental is RM10.

Swimming in the pool for outsiders is RM10 for adults, and only RM5 for babies.

A secret morning market with all the rare Kelantanese foods.

I stumbled upon Kuala Balah Morning Market in Jeli and was amazed by the unique foods and vegetables here that you won't find in other markets.

Here you can find akar pijat, sambal pijat, boiled buah perah, temu, and various local Kelantanese herbs.

Modern foods are also available.

Kuala Balah Morning Market is open every Friday from 8 am to 12 noon, only on Fridays.

Abe La has kept this café a secret for a long time to avoid it going viral😭

Once it goes viral, I won’t be able to eat in peace because of the crowds😬😬

Buko Pandan Meleleh is located behind Jaafar Rawas Tunjong, a café with a Malay kuih concept.

The menu includes Buko, Lempeng nyor, Lempeng ikan bilis, curry noodles, three types of kaswi kuih, and coffee.

The café is open from 12 noon to 6 pm only.

This is not a paid review because I always go there to eat myself.

Many people come here just to find sekaya labu.

This is the fastest-selling kuih shop in Machang. It opens at 12, and people are already lining up for Kak Za's original Malay and Thai kuih.

All the kuih here are authentic Thai and Kelantanese😁

Some of the kuih available are sekaya labu, sekaya pandan, sekaya pulut hitam, and kuih kato.

For lunch, there’s minced chicken, khaomok, nasi kerabu, and nasi lemak.

Nasi Kerabu Galok, Kolam Abu, Machang. Open from 12 am to the afternoon.

Closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Going to Penarek without stopping by Rumah Botol Ayahku is a huge loss🥵

There are thousands of bottles collected from the sea by Tok Ki throughout his life, beautifully arranged in the bottle house.

The floor is sandy and filled with colorful lights. The main attraction is Tok Ki's advice-filled chatter for everyone.

If you come here, don't forget to give a donation to Tok Ki.

And you can eat Mee Bandung and Rebus at Warung Arina right next door.

Found a Place to Eat Lokan at Night in Tumpat 😋🌃

I didn't plan to eat here, just passing by due to some errands in Tumpat. I discovered a healing place by the lagoon called Medina Lagoon.

Turns out, this place is famous for grilled Lokan and cheese oysters. They also have Western toast and masakan panas on the menu.

The taste is decent, with a spicy sauce , and the seafood is quite fresh, so there's no fishy smell.

The Most Healing Place in Kelantan Right Now 😍😊🥰

Teratak Rimba Abe Peah has made rapid improvements. It's an eco-resort in a rubber plantation by a wide river, perfect for kids to play.

I've stayed here many times, and it's truly a healing experience.

1. On Fridays and Saturdays, there’s a food market in the rubber trees (serving bakso, nasi khaumok, mee udang, and various Thai and Malay foods).
2. At night, there are large screen movie showings for a relaxing experience.
3. Riverside huts and tents are available for rent.
4. The neon bridge by the river is perfect for taking pictures.
5. Plenty of changing rooms.
6. Various types of cottages for rent, including camping sites.
8. Modern vending machines with online payment options.

Entry fee for one car is RM 5, hut rental is RM 30, and room rates range from RM 100-280.

Used to want to go to Thailand, now just go to Bachok 😆😋😍

I go to The V'E Cafe in Gunong Bachok almost once a month. This isn't a paid review; sometimes it's just because I crave the maggi perut bulat air asam by Kak Veen.

For only RM12, you get a bowl of maggi perut bulat air asam, with 4 types of dishes in one bowl. It's quite spicy too.

If you come here with a group, I recommend ordering:
+ Talam Selera Ve
+ Talam Khau Thum Thai (nasi air)

They have so many food choices that sometimes it's hard to decide what to eat.

Quietly, Penarik has the most beautiful resort 😫🤭

I was surprised because I stopped by without planning at Tijami Villa & Resort in Kg Mangkuk, Penarik, Terengganu.

The best part here is that there are two villas right by the pool, and there are two-story resort-style rooms.

Among the best features here:
- Location near the jetty to Redang
- Traditional Terengganu breakfast add-on
- ATV rides around the beach
- Large pool in the middle of the resort, perfect for kids
- Ideal for those going to Redang, you can stay here overnight

The most crowded Western restaurant 😁

Noticed in Perol, KB, Yellow Bamboo is always packed with people. There are no reviews, but it's always busy.

This place is famous for its chicken grill and lamb grill.

Must-try menu items here are:
- Western platter
- Nasi Lemak with spiced fried chicken
- Fried Nasi Lemak
- Various pasta dishes with grilled and crispy dishes

If you want to eat Western food, Abe La highly recommend this place. Details in the comments.

#bachok Nasi Air has 5 types of lauk and it's very cheap. That's what we find in Bachok, the Thai-style rice with lauk, 5 types of lauk at D’RV Kontena Bachok. You could say it's very cheap for a portion for 2-3 people with 5 types of lauk. In Thai, it's called Kho kum kui. During rainy and stormy nights, it's a must to eat hot Nasi Air.
