Bali meraih peringkat kedua dan menjadi satu-satunya destinasi populer dari Indonesia yang masuk dalam kategori Top Destination in the World 2024 versi Tripadvisor, Selasa (9/1). Bali berhasil mempertahankan kedudukannya di peringkat kedua dalam penghargaan tahunan tersebut sejak 2023. Bali digambarkan sebagai “kartu pos yang hidup.. yang terasa seperti fantasi” atas kekayaan dan keindahan alamnya.
Capaian ini membuat Bali mengungguli kota London dan Roma, yang turut diandalkan dalam hal destinasi favorit. Selain Bali, kota lainnya di Asia Tenggara yang turut masuk dalam daftar 10 besar yakni Hanoi dan Hoi An, Vietnam.

Bali has been ranked second and is the only popular destination from Indonesia in Tripadvisor's Top Destination in the World 2024 category, Tuesday (1/9). Bali has maintained its second place in the annual awards since 2023. Bali is described as a "living postcard... that feels like a fantasy" for its richness and natural beauty.
This achievement makes Bali surpass the cities of London and Rome, which are also relied upon in terms of favorite destinations. In addition to Bali, other Southeast Asian cities that also made the top 10 list are Hanoi, Vietnam and Hoi An, Vietnam.
