Mount Kangchenjunga 🇮🇳 altitude is 8586m, is the 3rd highest mountain in the world after Mount Everest altitude is 8848m 🇳🇵and K2 altitude is 8611m 🇵🇰

Kargil Srinagar Road is expected to Open By Tomorrow Evening

In Ladakh, to access the snow clearance work on Kargil Srinagar Road, high level team of LAHDC and District Administration along with team of Ladakh Rescue Center visited Zojjila upto Zero Point.

The Snow Clearance work is going on War footing from both ends and the team of Project Vijayak and Beacon of BRO along with the team of Local Mechanical Department and Police Department.

The team was led by CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan, which comprises of Deputy Commissioner Kargil Baser Ul haq Chowdhary, SSP Kargil Dr Vinod Kumar, Commanding Officer Vijayak, Exen Mechanical Division Kargil and Nasir of Ladakh Rescue Center.

While talking to our correspondent Anayat Ali, Feroz Ahmad Khan appreciated all the stake holders, team of Project Vijayak, Beacon, Mechanical Division and District Police Kargil for their tireless effort to open the road once again.

He said that the road is yet to clear from 500 meter before India Gate where Avalanches of 30 Meters has to be cleared.

Feroz Khan said that the team is working under extreme condition and they are getting a very little time for clearance due to Snow Strom and Extreme windy condition.

Talking about the opening of the road Feroz Khan said that the road will be connected by tomorrow evening if the weather condition remains normal and has urged upon the commuters to abide by the instructions of the Traffic Police or district administration before making any travelling plan.

In the meantime, Nasir of Ladakh Rescue Center briefed about the modus operandi of their plan to keep the Road Open during the winter.

In the meantime people in Kargil are facing problem due to shortage of Onion, Milk, Salt and other essential commodities in the Market as well as due to non operational of air service from Kargil and the sky rocketing air fares from Leh.

Ladakhi people facing difficulties due to exorbitant flight fares .

The prices of flight tickets to Ladakh have gone up these days as the roads leading the Union Territory are closed.

The people are facing difficulties due to the exorbitant fares.

Particularly Patients, students and youth appearing for exams or the interviews are the most affected.

During the summer season, 12 flights daily operate in the Delhi-Leh sector by 4 airliners. However, despite the demand now only 4 services are flying from Leh.
The Central Government must look into the matter very seriously.

Day 2, 16-03-2019 - Kuching to Singkawang, West Kalimantan via CIQ Kampung Biawak/Aruk.� Check-in Swiss-Belinn hotel. (279Km)

Day 3, 17-03-2015 - Singkawang to Pontianak. Check-in Aston hotel. (151Km)

Day 4, 18-03-2015 - Rest day in Pontianak.

Day 5, 19-03-2015 - Pontianak to Serian, Serawak via CIQ Entikong/Tepedu. Check-in Serian Transit Inn. (279Km)

Day 6, 20-03-2015 - Serian to Sibu. Check-in Win Hotel / Kingwood Hotel. (344Km)

Day 7, 21-03-2015 - Sibu to Bintulu. Check-in Promenade Hotel. (215Km)

Day 8, 22-03-2015 - Bintulu to Miri. Check-in Pullman Hotel. (196Km).

Day 13, 27 -03-2015 - Kudat to kota Kinabalu. Check-in Mercure Hotel. (181Km)

Day 14, 28 -03-2015 - Send bikes to Port. Rest day in Kota Kinabalu.

Day 15, 29 -03-2015 - Check-out hotel 12:00pm. Fly back home from Kota Kinabalu.

How much will this cost?

• Maximum spot are available.
• Participation fees RM5,000.00 per rider on twin sharing basis.

What is included in the package?

• Hotel at twin sharing
• Arrangement for shipping from West Port, Klang to Kuching Port and Kota Kinabalu Port back to West Port, Klang.
• Indonesian border arrangement.
• Arrangement to get the bikes out from Kuching port to hotel. (We will assist)

What is not included?

• Flight to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu back to your own destination.
• Fuel.
• Food and beverages except for breakfast that are provided from the hotel.
• Guide (This is a self support ride)
• There will be “NO” support mechanic and car.
• Arrangement from airport to hotel in Kuching and hotel to airport in Kota Kinabalu.
• Arrangement to send bikes to West port, Klang. (We will assist at West port, Klang)
• Arrangement to send bikes to Kota Kinabalu port. (We will assist you to the port and at the port)
• Arrangement and if there is any charges at every CIQ from Miri into Brunei and CIQ Lawas into CIQ Sipitang.

Information

• This is a self support ride. (Please bring along your spare tube or punture kit)
• This ride are open to bikes above 250cc.
• There will be 2 types of riding during this trip.
1. Group riding:
- Kuching to Singkawang (CIQ Kampung Biawak/Aruk) / Pontianak to Serian (CIQ Entikong/Tepedu).
- Miri to all CIQ Brunei till Lawas.
- Lawas to CIG Sipitang.
2. Free riding - on all routes except whats mention above.
• Self check-in at all hotels.
• Every bike would requier a GPS or mobile phone as a GPS during this trip.

Booking datelines

• Full payment is required by 31st January 2019 .
• There will be no refund after dateline.

Shipping details

• Motorcycle to be sent to West port, Klang. (Date wil be inform later)

* Ride will take place if a minimum of 10 riders are confirmed. In case of poor response deposit will be refunded.
