Asian Overland Services (AOS) in partnership with World Scholars Cup (WSC), an international organization is looking for part-timers for their Scavenger Hunt event. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with a pioneering organization (WSC) and gain invaluable experience in facilitating activities for their participants.

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to serve as a Scavenge Leader, to oversee and manage a small group of students throughout the event. The skills we’re looking for :
1. Speak Fluent English
2. Physically fit (Will be moving around a venue with the participants)
3. Patience with kids (10 - 18 years old)

LIMA 2023, as The Nexus of Asia's Maritime & Aerospace Trade combines the best of the aerospace and maritime industries, will be set on the beautiful island of Langkawi, Malaysia. The exhibition will be held at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) and Resort World Langkawi (RWL) respectively from 23rd May until 27th May 2023.
LIMA is exhibiting 600 of 30 nations companies from Defence/Security and Commercial sectors. Up to 20 international pavilions from the US, China, UK, France, UAE, Indonesia, Thailand, Italy, Türkiye, Brazil, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Czech Republic and others. The 20,000 sqm MIEC space venue will be utilised indoor and outdoor with 110 of aircraft and 110 of ships/vessels, expecting 45,000 trade visitors, more than 250,000 public visitors and more than 400 VVIPs comprising Ministers of Defence and Ministers of Transport, Senior Officer and Service Chiefs from 59 countries.
Apart from exhibitions, forums and conferences, LIMA 2023 will also organize various activities such as drone races, flight simulators, technology talks and career fairs for visitors and enthusiasts of the maritime industry and aerospace technology. This event is a platform for local industry players to network for business development.

Walking above the clouds on Langkawi Sky Bridge, an architectural marvel suspended high above the rainforest and azure waters. The views are simply breathtaking, stretching as far as the eye can see!
Nature's beauty surrounds me – lush hills, cascading waterfalls, and the sparkling Andaman Sea. It feels like a dream come true.

PUTRAJAYA, 14 April – Lembaga Penggalakan Pelancongan Malaysia (Tourism Malaysia) mengumumkan pelantikan YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Ammar Abd. Ghapar sebagai Ketua Pengarah Tourism Malaysia yang baharu berkuat kuasa 12 April 2023.

Menteri Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya, YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing telah bersetuju melantik Dato’ Dr. Ammar secara rasmi bagi menggantikan Dato’ Hj. Zainuddin Abdul Wahab yang bersara wajib pada 10 April 2023.

Berkelulusan Ijazah Doktor Falsafah (PhD) dalam pengajian Hotel dan Pengurusan Pelancongan serta Sarjana Pentadbiran Perniagaan (MBA) daripada Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Dato’ Dr. Ammar sebelum ini merupakan Pengarah Kanan Bahagian Promosi Antarabangsa (Amerika, Eropah dan Oceania).

Beliau yang telah berkhidmat selama 35 tahun dalam perkhidmatan awam, pernah diberikan kepercayaan untuk menggalas tugas sebagai Pengarah Kanan Pengurusan selain menerajui Bahagian Perancangan Strategik serta Bahagian Domestik & Acara Tourism Malaysia.

Selain pernah dilantik sebagai Pengarah Bahagian Kewangan, beliau turut menjawat jawatan Pengarah Luar Negeri di Osaka dan Moscow, masing-masing pada tahun 1999 dan 2008 serta Pengarah Negeri Tourism Malaysia Kedah/Perlis pada tahun 2005.

Pada tahun 2021, Dato’ Dr. Ammar mengetuai Sekretariat Pasukan Petugas Gelembung Perjalanan bagi memacu usaha pemulihan industri pelancongan yang terkesan akibat pandemik COVID-19. Beliau juga merupakan Profesor Adjung di Fakulti Hotel dan Pengurusan Pelancongan, UiTM sehingga kini.
