The one place that you cannot miss when visiting Austria is Hallstatt. A perfect place to stroll and wander around the village.
You can also visit the salt mine where the salts are locally made and there is a viewpoint at the sky bridge to oversee the hallstatt lake.
A place where you can relax as a family and just bask in the beautiful views everywhere.

When in Prague, the must see landmarks or attractions are of course Prague Castle, Charles Bridge and the Old Town of Prague.

Start your day early and spend half a day at Prague castle. You can walk around the castle area and there are lots of viewpoints to see the whole city of prague. You can also admire the architecture of the castle.

Once done, of course you have to walk around the Old Town of prague, where you can see the astronomical clock. Then walk across Charles bridge and to mala strana where there are lots of colorful buildings and houses.

After a long journey by flight from Malaysia, we decided to check in at the hotel & straightaway have an early dinner since we arrived at Vaclav Havel (Prague) airport by afternoon.
What a better way to end our tiring journey to have our craving of rice dinner at mailsi pakistan restaurant which is 500m (5 mins) walk from our hotel. Delicious!

What a trip! We just completed 7 days 6 nights trip from Netherlands, Belgium & UK.

We went to the beautiful cities & towns of Amsterdam, Giethoorn, Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp & London.

Piazza del Duomo, Milan is the main city square in Milan and it is in the center of the city. Every shopping boutiques or main shopping streets are within walking distance.

If you want a natural landscape or scenery, lake Como is only 1.5 hrs drive away. You can take lake cruises around lake como or stopover and visit small towns nearby such as Bellagio, Menaggio.

If you have more time, why not try another country as Switzerland is nearby Milan and you could at least spend a day or two there. We can plan for you the best trip to suit you and your family. 😀

At Interlaken, there are many nearby places that you could visit.
Iseltwald, where the shooting of Crash Landing on you took place. If you are a fan of the korean tv show. 😀.

Then you can visit Blausee and the nearest lakes are Lake Thun & Lake Brienz.

Breathtaking views everywhere and we can stop at any viewstop for pictures.

Since Italy is near the border of Switzerland, why not go to Swiss for some nights if you have the time. We planned to stay 4 nights at Switzerland.

From Florence to Bergün it will take around 6 hours drive but from Milan, it will be just 3 hours drive.

The town of Bergün and it's nearby town of Filisur are popular for sledging. Imagine the average temperature at Italy is around 10°c but once we arrived at Bergün, it was -14°c!

For those of you who want to experience snow and other winter activities, of course Switzerland is the place to go.

Florence is the next place we visited after Rome. It's 3 hrs drive from Rome.
If you start you day early make sure to stopover at Pisa or if you decide to go the day after, Pisa is only 1.5 hrs drive from Florence.
It was a very sunny day at Pisa eventhough the temperature was quite cold. It was a perfect day to take pictures!
If you wanted to climb the tower of Pisa, you could just buy the entrance tickets and climb around 251 steps to the top! Roughly about 30 minutes of climbing so that you can enjoy the top view from the tower.

In Florence, visit the Piazza del duomo as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is located there. If you are into leather goods, this is the place to buy them. You can find many stalls selling the leather goods near the Central Market. Just be sure to negotiate the price with the vendors.

The must place visit whenever you are visiting Rome is of course Colosseum. It is over 1900 years old and to see it in the middle of a city feels so majestic.

If you buy tickets to go inside the colosseum, you could also visit Palatine Hill where you can get scenic views of the Rome city.

After the visit, make sure you wander around the city centre where you can find Trevi fountain (where people make wishes by throwing in coins) but mainly it is famous because of its intricate artwork decorated in baroque style.

For shopping, you could go to via del corso as one of the most popular shopping streets there.

Let's kickoff the Italy & Switzerland trip at Venice! We landed at Milan Malpensa Airport and went straight to Venice. It's a 3 hrs drive from Milan to Venice.

We stayed at Venice for 3 nights to really explore Venice. The 1st night is to rest since we just arrived from Malaysia. 😀

One of the days in Venice, the water rises and we have to walk on platforms to walk around the city. The city was always prepared in case it happens so people could move around the city easily.

In Venice, just wander around the city and visit the bridge of sighs, rialto bridge and make sure to book your ticket to fondaco rooftop terrace. It's free but limited slots everyday and you can get breathtaking views of venice.

Our 6 days at Netherlands are done and will finish our 10 days trip in the UK.
Upon arriving London we decided to do some shopping since it was raining and off to Westfield shopping centre.
What a crowd!! It was so packed it was very hard to even walk and never mind shopping!
Nevertheless, we did a little bit of shopping before checking in our hotel.

The next day, off to Liverpool for Anfield stadium tour. If you are a liverpool fan, this is one of the day trips from london that you can't miss! It's a 4 hours drive from london or you can even opt to spend a night in liverpool to make it 2 days 1 night trip.

It was Christmas Day and raining for nearly the whole day! We decided to go to Rotterdam & The Hague for a day trip from Amsterdam.
Rotterdam is the second largest city in Netherlands and Europe's largest seaport. The best way to see Rotterdam on a rainy day is by going on the harbour cruise which takes up around 75 mins.
The cruise was clean and beautiful and we can order foods and drinks during the tour.
On the way back to Amsterdam, we stopped over at The Hague to see the International Court of Justice.
Nice end to our day trip and we went about Amsterdam city centre at night to see the Christmas lights around the city.

It was a fine sunny day and it was a perfect day to explore Zaanse Schans (Windmill Village) & Volendam (Fishermen Village). It is only 30 mins drive from Amsterdam city centre.

In Zaanse Schans you could look into windmills that make dyes, clogs workshop and even cheese factory. You could spend half a day here and when finished do not forget to visit Volendam.

Volendam was once a fishermen village as it is near the sea. Here, you could wear dutch tradisional clothes and take a picture in the studio or just roam around the streets to shop for souvenirs and eating fresh seafood.

On the 2nd day we went to Giethoorn (Venice of Netherlands). This is a car free village. Only bicycles or walking are allowed. You must take the canal boat tour if you are there.

In the winter, if the lake is frozen there will be no boats but you can ice skate on the frozen lakes.

Very beautiful and a must place visit whenever you are in Netherlands.

At night, we went on the Amsterdam festival of lights canal cruise. The festival of lights canal cruise are only available druring end of november till end of december.

We began our winter journey just before New Year to Netherlands & UK. Upon arriving at Amsterdam, we of course took a picture first at the IAmsterdam sign at the Schiphol Airport. Make sure you do the same!

As we have just arrived at the airport, we took a stroll at Amsterdam city at night and just bask in the city life and the christmas lights n decorations around the city. 🙂

The city is beautiful with cobblestone walkways, incredible historic sites & stunning beaches.

Charleston market is the biggest market in the city. The market stretches for four city blocks!

Although many people have visited Hyde Park, maybe some still did not realized there is a huge playground for kids.

It is the Princess Diana Memorial playground. The centerpiece of the playground is a huge wooden pirate ship with a beach around it.

It is open throughout the year and if by any chance you have a free time with kids try to come here to let the kids enjoy the playground. There are plenty of seating so the grownups can relax too.
