LIFE FROM THE HEADWATER TO THE COAST
BAKO NATIONAL PARK BIODIVERSITY BETWEEN LAND AND SEA
The **Ahaetulla prasina**, commonly known as the Oriental Whip Snake or the Asian Vine Snake, is indeed a marvel of nature. This arboreal snake is known for its slender, elongated body, which allows it to blend seamlessly with the branches and foliage of its habitat. Its bright green color further enhances its camouflage, making it a master of disguise in the treetops.
The Oriental Whip Snake has a gentle, elegant appearance, with large eyes that give it a somewhat curious expression. It primarily preys on small animals such as lizards, frogs, and birds, using its keen vision to spot prey from a distance.
