Sungai Kapur's village clean up campaign at Kg Meruap was built around the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink slogan. This was part of our give back initiative.

21 Nov 2019 was a give back day! Educational Clean Up Kampung Meruap 2019 was based on the concept of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink!” A joined effort and initiative from Brothers Cycling, Bike and Tours, Tabin Lodge Wildlife Rainforest Tour, Sabah Forestry and Marine Police Lahad Datu, volunteers Daniel, Judith & Pepe from Germany and from Thailand and the villagers at Kampung Meruap to clean up the village and beach area.
It was a success. A large portion of the area was cleaned up. There are still lots to do but that’s a start. Thank you to all that helped pick all those trash! You have a heart of gold!

It is indeed a location that boasts the wilderness of the jungle at its best. A place for nature lovers who understands and accepts this primary forest as it is - untouched, the beach that you stop at unpolished or maintained by any humans where beauty is subjective and lies in the eyes of the beholder and that every splash of salt or sweet water as part of the adventure!
