9️⃣ The stay was romantic and great. Thank you Linda for your help

+ The property was very calm. Nights by the pool were amazing. Location is very good. The setup of the rooms is nice. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious.

- Nothing. Maybe a fence from the backside will give a more feeling of security during the night by the pool.

Truth be told, we were scared to accept his booking 😂 We even request him to cancel as they were allergic to insects and house lizards, which is practically impossible to control in our paddy field and tropical environment.

So when they left with the departing words below, we knew that their stay was a good one, phew 😮‍💨

“Honestly, everything was perfect and well taken care of. Definitely will give you the expected rating. Heartfelt thanks and regards from us. Hopefully will see you again one time.”

“The property was stunning, peaceful, the kind of Langkawi living you are looking for apart from the beach.

House was complete with all the necessity that you need during your stay (kitchen, washer, even bicycle). Room was comfortable, overlooking the paddy field.

All in all, love every bits of the stay!”

Every day is Min’s birthday! 😍

A heartwarming gesture. An act of kindness. This is a story of a retired English teacher who touched the lives of her former students of more than 30 odd years ago. And today, i bear witness to the love that these students have for their teacher who gifted a 3 nights stay and return flight tickets from Penang.

Cikgu Sab. Min and Cik, her daughters. May this well deserved break be filled with joy, rest and peace that this beautiful family so richly deserves. May this staycation be a chance for cikgu to recharge and enjoy quality time with her family. May this rare moment to pause, relax and let others take care of her for a change, remains an unforgettable memory in many years to come.

Cikgu, thank you for touching the lives of your former students. You are well loved by all you have taught at MRSM Taiping.

I have been tasked to take care of you and your family in Langkawi and for that, i am deeply honored. I now consider yourself my teacher too! You know where to go now, should you need a break!

Playing host to a famous person in the Japan halal world 🤩

With just 2 hours to spare, i get to bring him to experience our local food and a local craft boutique in mengkuang weaving.

It is an honor to bring him around to experience Langkawi hospitality and our Malaysian local scene.

He promised to come again to Langkawi! 🥰 Holding on to his words! Have a safe flight back to Tokyo!

+ Wor haben hier 4 wundervolle Tage erlebt. Da die Wettervorhersage unbeständig waren, haben wir nach einer Unterkunft gesucht, die man vermutlich bei schönen Wetter, aber auch an verregneten Tagen genießen kann. Die hohen Deckenwände, der helle Anstrich und die großen Fensterfronten lassen auch bei schlechtem Wetter keine dunkle Stimmung aufkommen. Die Aussicht ist von Sonnenauf- bis untergang faszinierend und beruhigend. Das optionale Frühstück mit lokalen Gerichten war abwechslungsreich und grandios.
Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sämtliche Anfragen wurde zeitnahe beantwortet und geklärt.

🔟 Relax in the middle of the rice field.
+ What have four wonderful days experienced here? Since the weather forecasts were volatile, we have been looking for a place to stay, which you can probably enjoy in nice weather, but also on rainy days. The high ceiling walls, the bright paint and the large window fronts do not create a dark atmosphere even in bad weather. The view is fascinating and soothing from sunrise to sunset. The optional breakfast with local dishes was varied and terrific.
The staff was always friendly and helpful. All questions were answered in a timely manner and resolved.

Dr Umi has always been good with words. Dari dulu actually. She was our pantun ace in school. Lancar je bila bercakap. Yes, we go a long way back from school days, more than 35 years ago! That’s how young we are! Bila dah specialised as ni, sebenarnya lagi takut nak jumpa 😂 boleh rasa Dr Umi can read from all angles, emotional, facial & body language. Conscious tau!

It was indeed a challenging week for visitors to due to bad weather that week. Ferries from Kuala Kedah and vice versa got cancelled. Tengku Azman & family was also stranded and had to extend their stay in Langkawi.

Apparently, you have contacted us way back in 2022. Dapat juga jumpa akhirnya, itu namanya rezeki. Thank you for reaching out.

We have similar tastes in architecture, although different in professions, Tengku being a businessman & an architect by profession at vs yours truly who just have passion for this type of building design inspired by my travels and admiration of an infamous Russion architect

Stunned. No words can describe this feeling. 🥹 Gob-smacked but controlled. Dalam hati dah nangis. Happy dan terharu.

🔟A remarkable stay with wonderful hospitality.
+ What’s not to like about this place? The view, the space, the bed, architecture, the facilities were all there for us to use and enjoy. This was truly home away from home, actually, it was better. You are woken up by the birds chirping in the morning. Amazingly, the pool was super warm both day and night. We stayed in the pool until 10.30pm and it was warm the entire time. The view was AMAZING! We were there when the paddy was young and green and it provided an amazing backdrop while we swam, one can not look away.

… breakfast in the morning (upon request), and it was delish. I think of all the stays I’ve been at in Langkawi, and this is probably the 101th trip, this was the best place I’ve stayed at. So good we refused to leave early on the day we depart and extended another half day…
