Countdown to Pi Day !!! π π π π π

This Sunday is Pi Day, celebrated every year on the fourteenth of March around the world (March 14 = 3.14 = Pi, get it?).

To celebrate Pi Day, Year 11 students at NIS verified its value by measuring the circumference and diameter of different sizes of cookies!

Also, a Pi recitation competition was held in class today, to test children's memory capacity. Do you know who the champion was?

Throwback to Thursday 25th February, international health expert Dr. Khor Swee Kheng gave a fascinating seminar for students and teachers on the Use of Vaccines to Control COVID-19.

Our students interacted with the speaker and asked interesting questions regarding the safety of the vaccine and its necessity to go back to normal life before Covid19.
