Behind the living room sofas, there’s a table and cushions—perfect for snapping Instagram-worthy photos! 📷
The photos come out looking amazing! ❤️
There are bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs, as well as bathrooms on each level, making it super convenient without the need to run up and down for the bathroom. 👍🏻
It can accommodate a max of 6️⃣ people, making it ideal for small families.
Food options are convenient too, with BBQ, hotpot, Chinese food restaurants 🍜 just downstairs.
There are also several bubble tea shops 🥤 to choose from.
If you want to grab snacks from the convenience store and heat them up back home, that's 🆗 too!
The microwave, kettle, and dining utensils 🍴 are all provided.

The high ceiling makes the space feel open, perfect for a group stay!

Before coming to Penang, I always wanted to experience staying in a loft-style home😍
So when planning, I chose to stay here!
It's a self-check-in homestay🏠
You need to pick up the key from the mailbox🔑 before entering the parking lot.
The host provides a parking spot🅿️, so after getting the key, you can park in the designated spot.
The process is straightforward—just follow the check-in guide from customer service, and you're all set🆗
First impression upon entering: Wow, this place is huge! Even bigger than my own house🤣
The ceiling is incredibly high🤣
There are two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.
The kitchen has utensils, which is convenient for eating takeout🍜.
Towels are provided on the bed🛏️, and there’s body wash🧴 in the bathroom.
Looking around, most places nearby are restaurants🍽️
No worries about food👌🏻
I'm very satisfied with every aspect of this homestay😍

🇲🇾 Staying on the outskirts of the city center is the way to go!
It's just as convenient but with less traffic!

From the moment I saw the exterior of this homestay, I knew it was solid! No way this could be a miss! 😌
The black and gold design looks premium! 👍🏻
If you're driving 🚗, you'll need to register your car plate in advance to enter
It might be a bit of a hassle, but it definitely adds a sense of security, which is reassuring! 🥰
The homestay inside is more on the simple side, but it's super comfortable!
Whether it’s the sofa, dining chairs, or bed 🛏️—everything is so comfy!
The fact that the three most-used spots are comfy makes it a win‼️
An extra perk is the lovely view 🏙️, including a clear sight of Penang’s landmark—KOMTAR
The kitchen has utensils 🍴 and cookware that are all available for use
There's also a washing machine, so you can dry your clothes ☀️ on the balcony
With 2️⃣ bedrooms and 2️⃣ bathrooms, there’s no need to fight over the toilet 🚽
This place is really close to George Town, just on the outskirts!
Driving 🚘 takes about 5 minutes to the city center

Whether you're coming with friends or a partner, this place is perfect!
There's a living room, a small kitchen, and a bathroom with separate wet and dry areas 🚻
The WIFI provided is fast enough for gaming without any lag
You can also watch movies 🎬 on the TV
Just note that you'll need to log in with your own Netflix account as it's not provided by the host
Don't forget to log out after using it‼️
The bathroom has body wash 🧴 and shampoo, so no need to bring your own.
Even a hairdryer and iron are available!
We booked this place because it's in a super convenient location👍🏻

🇲🇾 I found a dual key homestay!
It’s private, yet you can move between the two houses without disturbing anyone!

Listen up‼️
If you want to book two units but still stay close to your friends, this is for you! 🫵🏻
It’s really hard to find two homestays 🏠 on the same floor that are connected
Usually, they’re just nearby, on the same level 😩
In this homestay, once you close the main door, you can move freely between both units, and no one from the outside can see! 👀
But remember to keep the noise down—don’t disturb the neighbors! 🤣
There are 2️⃣ living rooms 🛋️ and 3️⃣ bedrooms with 4 Queen beds 🛏️ in total
There are also 2 toilets 🚽
However, there’s only one full kitchen and laundry room 🧺, so you’ll need to take turns
The left unit only has a small tea corner—good enough for making coffee ☕️ or eating takeout👌🏻
There are also 2️⃣ dining tables—we moved them together for a shared meal
⚠️ (Of course, we moved them back after!)
The homestay provides enough utensils, towels, and toiletries

🇲🇾 First Time Staying at a Penang Homestay Without Any Disappointments!
Thankfully, after much consideration, we found one that we're really satisfied with!
•
In the past, I always stayed in hotels when visiting Penang, but since this time I came with my family, I decided to try staying in a homestay 🏠
For group trips, having everyone stay in the same house is much more convenient.
We had 5️⃣ people, so we chose this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom homestay
It has a sea view 🌊
Both bathrooms are attached to the rooms and are stocked with shampoo and body wash 🧴
Towels are provided based on the number of guests, and they're placed on the beds 🛏️
The bed isn't too soft or too firm, so even after a long sleep😴, we didn't wake up with back pain
The kitchen has all the essentials like cutlery, microwave, water purifier, and an induction cooker
For a short stay, everything you need is provided ✅
The host also offers one free parking spot 🅿️, so we didn't have to pay for parking elsewhere
There are plenty of restaurants 🍜 nearby, and right next door to the homestay is a local specialty shop – **Yi Xiang**

The customer service was excellent. The staff were very patient with all the questions we asked ❤️
This place is definitely worth staying at!

This homestay is truly adorable!

The entire setup really feels like a campsite 🏕️!
There’s even a hammock to lounge on!
From the hammock, you can enjoy a view of the sea 🌊 through the window.
The sofa has cute pillows shaped like logs 🪵 and flames 🔥
It’s perfect for cute photos! 😍
The moment I saw this place, it was love at first sight!
I asked the host about the utensils, and they mentioned that they replaced the metal ones to prevent guests from putting them in the microwave 🍽️
But this didn’t lessen my love for the place at all! ❤️
There are two bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds 🛏️, and it can accommodate up to 6️⃣ people
The basic amenities like a microwave and fridge are all provided 👍🏻
Downstairs, there are restaurants for meals, along with convenience stores, cafes ☕️, etc

For me, this place is super convenient, and even getting a Grab is easy 🚘

This place adds a touch of cuteness to the usual Japanese-themed homestay ❤️

For four people traveling to Penang, staying at a hotel was a bit pricey for us
We wanted to save money for other activities, so we chose a homestay
This homestay perfectly fits our needs!

When we saw it in person, we were really charmed! 😍
The cushions on the sofa are little cats 🐱, and even the cups have cat designs!
They add a nice touch!

I don’t know why, but dark colors really have a calming effect 😴
Or maybe it’s just me 🤣
The living room sofa looks comfortable and feels comfortable to sit on! I even accidentally fell asleep on it 💤
The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room offer a glimpse of the sea 🌊, which is quite enough! The water is so blue and beautiful!
You can enjoy the sea view and sip coffee ☕️ at the coffee table

If I were to stay longer, a homestay would be my top choice!

The difference between having and not having a balcony is truly remarkable!
Being able to step out and get some fresh air 🌬️ is so refreshing!

Suitable for everyone, whether adults, kids, or the elderly!
Since we traveled with elderly and young children 👶🏻, we avoided staying in the city center
to avoid disturbing their rest at night 💤

There are high-rises, but the city retains its charming, traditional feel. 🏙️
I came with a few friends to explore Penang and enjoy the local cuisine 🍜.
We decided against staying in a hotel and opted for a homestay instead 🏠.
