An life experience to remember always

Princilia was professional and thoughtful about all aspects of our ride. From making sure we were safely prepared at the beginning to keeping us well hydrated and fed through our trip. She educated us about the history and agriculture of the region, showed us intimate glimpses of villages, and took us through stunning picturesque landscapes. And at the end after we raced up hills in the warm refreshing rain, we gleefully ended at a beautiful beach with ice cream bars! Really couldn’t have been better. Princilia is the best.

Small group classic cycle tour with Princilia with backup by SJ was great. We saw a different natural and green side of Penang. In a few hours Princilia has encapsulated a nature tour, a spice tour, an estate tour and a culture tour of life in the rural and fishing villages of Balik Pulau. It is a gentle cycle and more of a tour than an endurance cycle but no less pleasurable. The weather was cool for our trip which made it very pleasant. Lunch provided in a shelter by the side of a green paddy field was a great finish.

Highlight of the family’s Penang trip!
Absolutely 5-star experience, starting with email correspondence with J Zen to tour guides Princilia and SJ. Took care of every single detail from bike selection and safety to making sure it was an enjoyable ride the entire journey.
We loved the scenic journey through the hamlets/ villages and the calming paddy fields.
My 8 year old kid enjoyed the ride and there was no pressure to keep up with the group. Kudus to Princilia for always checking back!
Will definitely look for other tours with Matahari when we are back in Penang next time!

A great way to spend the day out of Georgetown.
This is more than a cycle tour. The tour is on the western side of the Island so you see more of the island in the transfer. The cycling is not too arduous. It is about 16 km on flat minor roads and tracks. Then there are the stops where Princilia or SJ present informative details about the local culture. It includes morning tea and lunch. All run in a very professional and safety conscious manner.

A wonderful way to get off the heated track and explore Penang
By far one of the best tours I’ve ever done. It was the perfect way to explore the local life and beautiful countryside in Penang. A truely wonderful experience. The guides Princilia & SJ made everything run so smoothly. It was a really good balance between being active on the bike and also stopping to learn about the history and local life. I will definitely be back to do this tour again! Absolutely loved it!

This trip was absolutely amazing. J Zan and Princilia are expert, funny and informative guides and really made an unforgettable experience. During this tour you will meet local people, try authentic food, see wildlife and experience beautiful scenery. You will probably learn a lot of new things on this tour.
This is low impact tourism at its very best but still provides an extremely worthwhile experience for the customer, the provider and the local economy.

Fabulous cycling trip
Absolutely fabulous day on the tour with Joe our driver, and Princilia and SJ our cycling guides. Great bikes and fabulous weather meant we were all set for a great morning. Loads of amazing and humbling places to see and visit, with interesting context along the way. Wildlife and landscapes are awesome too. We were very well looked after with plenty of drinks, snacks and an amazing lunch. Brilliant trip with a lovely team, for anyone wanting to see life beyond the city. Enjoy!
