Kundasang War Memorial

Built in 1962 to honour the Australian and British Prisoners Of War who lost their lives during the historic death marches in the Second World War as well as the brave locals that tried to help them, the Kundasang War Memorial consists of four gardens; each with a different theme to represent different nationalities. Walk through the Australian Garden, the English Garden, the Borneo Garden, and the Contemplation Garden and Pool–let yourself be engulfed by the solemn history of WWII.
